Remember this camp is for existing players, beginners who started classes this year and will cater up to Grade 1/2 level students. This is unfortunately the only level that can be catered for!

A special mention to twins Edith and Ruben, who achieved exceptional results in their Grade 8 violin exams. A huge achievement! Students of mine since they were 4 years old, they have made me a very proud teacher indeed. Congratulations 🎻🙌👌🏻🎵

London’s Royal Academy of Music Announces Visiting Professor Acclaimed violinist Hilary Hahn will assume the role, effective as of September 2024.

I have mentioned to a number of students that I am cutting my teaching hours dramatically in September and will only be continuing with students who have registered.

Also, I will not be teaching on Saturdays next year, so existing Saturday students need to register for a spot on the weekdays if they wish to continue.

What Do Parents Really Want? “I’m confused because I don’t understand what parents really want from their children’s music lessons. Some of them are perfectly happy to pay me a lot of money when they don’t help their children or even insist that they practice. What is it they’re really buying?”

A reminder to everyone that exams, concerts and performances are only a mere 5 weeks away! Every student is ill prepared and way behind in their preparation this year, especially exam students!! Please start practicing everyday and please read your notebook!

We have been back for two weeks since Easter break and there has been no improvement in practicing or progress. I am saying the same thing to everyone at each class! Attending weekly classes is unfortunately a waste of time if the violin hasn’t been taken out of the case once!

If you are preparing for an exam and/or a member of an ensemble for the concert on May 26th please do EXTRA practice over the coming weeks.

Exam students please download the relevant apps available from the ABRSM to include in your practice as they are super helpful and save time in the weekly class.
