What a gorgeous day outside, and best of luck to all our excellent restaurants and Pubs opening this weekend for outdoor dining. Fantastic start to this bank holiday weekend; we hope for a safe weekend for all our guests and patrons of Galway City.

So it is with HUGE excitement that we finally had the green light to officially open for the business of welcoming previous and new guests alike to the next generation PETRA HOUSE B&B. We are delighted to say we're open for business.

We are situated just a few minutes from the Heart of Galway City Eyre Square, Galway Major Sporting Ground, Galway Major Rail and Bus services and a further walk to Galway's West End. We offer a beautiful cosy home away from home conveniently located to explore that all the city and surrounding countryside of Galway has to offer.

We never question what life will bring to us but never forget where we came from, where we are, and never forget where we want to go. Having left Ireland to travel the world flying for an international airline seemed like it was never going to end until now, offering world-class hospitality to all nations that travel to Galway.

So finally, after a long and gruelling four and a half months of lockdown, We here at Petra House are delighted to hear non-essential retail can re-open, and we wish all a massive success to all opening today.

We ask for everyone to shop local to support all our fantastic business, stay safe, practise regular hand washing and social distancing measures and hopefully, we can have an amazing outdoor summer. Let's do this, and hopefully, we, along with my great neighbours, will be able to welcome guest back too. So here it goes, our first live update, "We're Back", We so Excited about the challenge going forward and improving the fantastic groundwork laid out before us from the previous landlords. We have finally given the green light to open from June 2nd, and we so excited we can't sleep for the opening day. We thank our predecessors so much and wish them the best of luck, and hope to honour them by keeping the traditions and high standards known from Petra House alive going forward. Not a Social Media expert, but keep an eye out for our posts/stories and please share our booking page. I hope everyone is excited as us for summer 2021.
