A big thank you to the people who helped with the cleanup of Ballybrood cemetery on Saturday.
Weather permitting work is planned for KILMURRY cemetery on Saturday next, 29th June from 10.00 am.
We are appealing to anybody who can give an hour or two to come forward and help to spread the workload.

Joe & Helen O’Riordan are planning to open a Montessori Service at the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish after the summer break. We are now looking for bookings for children for FREE Preschool places (ECCE) for September. Children from 2 years & 8 months up to 5 years are entitled to 2 years FREE Preschool. We are also registered for the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) which provides childcare subsidies for children who do not yet qualify for the ECCE Scheme. We have been running Caherelly Kids Montessori & After School since 2006 and also have our daughter Katie & local Early Years Practitioners as part of our team. CAHERCONLISH TIDY TOWNS: A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in getting a large amount of work completed over the past week, Painting at the Monument, The Square, High St, Main St and church yard. Power hosing the church yard and cleaning of Goonans way. Weather permitting, we will meet again next Tuesday at 7pm in the Square to continue the good work.

Membership is €30 for a family, €15 per individual and €10 for juvenile or senior.

Tennis Club | Millennium Centre Membership for the year can be paid at the Millennium Centre at any time or at the Tennis Club every Tuesday or Thursday between 7pm and 8:30pm.

Road works:

As some of you already know the R513 Road will be closed on Monday morning the 13th to Friday evening the 17th of May.
This is to facilitate construction of a cattle underpass, this is a full road closure from Cleary's Cross at McGrath's to Connollys Cross(Caherline) only local traffic will be allowed from Connolly's and a diversion plan will be in place.

It is advised to drive slow on the backroads as there will be a larger than normal volume of traffic on such roads.

Take care for the five days.

Caherconlish Tidy Town: We are organising a series of volunteer evenings every Tuesday from 7pm to around 8.30pm. We will meet in The Square at 7pm (weather permitting). The plan is to continue for the months of May, June and July. We have entered the National Tidy Towns and Limerick Going for Gold competitions. We need as much help as possible to continue the good work in keeping our village neat and tidy for residents and visitors alike. We would appreciate any help with weeding, cleaning, sweeping our beautiful vibrant village. Please join us.
