Keep an eye on the Sailplane Grand Prix.for the coming week. Day 3 practice is currently underway with the first day of racing tomorrow.

While Ireland had produced some terrific teams at World Championship level, we are yet to feature at Grand Prix level. Who will be the first to do so and fly alongside the very best of the best competitors in the gliding world?

Our second ASK21, EI-GLZ, is home following her refinish in Poland. A huge thanks to everyone involved - a massive effort by all, and she is looking great.

Soaring Saturday....

Sun is shining and we're having fun. We had the big guns out with two tugs and an ASK21 out for the first time this year. Lots of pilot training and currency flights happening.

And then a beautiful sunset to wrap things up - nice 👌

Massive congrats to our friends in Ulster Gliding Centre who have just replaced their Super Cub with a EuroFOX 915. Well done folks - can't wait to see G-TUGC up close.

Well, summer 2023 is now officially LAST YEAR. That means we've a whole new season to prepare for. More soaring, pilot training and task weeks to be planned.

Cant find this in many places as so few copies were made and issued to the pilot.
Any copies found are expected to have been through frozen or very hot air and be a bit tattered.

Today we flew in tricky conditions. Strong wind from the Northeast made take-offs and landings a bit more exciting than one would wish for. Altogether a very nice wave day over the hills of Wicklow mountains.
