Sligo Kayak Tours kicking off their Spring Tours 🥳🥳🥳
Well well, after a long hibernation spring has sprung and just like that we are back!
We've really missed Lough Gill, the silence of the lake islands and the craic of guiding groups into this paradise.
It feels like ages since we were last out on the water, and we're hoping for a summer of good weather, light winds and lots of tours out into the wilderness.
On that note, our first tour of spring is this Saturday (5th March) at 14:30 and we have a few places left on it if you are interested.
The weather forecast is calling for light winds and sunshine so if you fancy seeing Lough Gill from your own kayak then jump over to the website (link in bio) and book yourself in.

Sligo's 50th St Patricks Day Parade will take on a new route this year. The main change will see the parade return to going up O'Connell St and across Grattan St and Castle St. The viewing stand will now be based at the courthouse to reduce gaps and delays in the parade.
It is hoped the shorter route will make the parade more enjoyable for spectators and there are a number of quiet zones and designated disabled spaces as seen on the map below.
Applications for entrants are still open and there is no cost to enter. Applications can be made at www.sligostpatricksday.com.
This years parade will be the feature event as part of a 5 day festival of music and events. With a double bank holiday on the Thursday and Friday, it is expected a large number of visitors will visit Sligo.
The parade is in partnership with Sligo County Council, Failte Ireland and Sligo BID.
Take part in the 2022 Parade!!!
