Jewessence 2024/25 started off with an amazing orientation week. We spent time getting to know each other and coming together as a group. Some highlights were our first trip to the Old City & kotel plus an incredible hike from Mevaseret to Lifta. Now we are getting ready for our first shabbaton complete with some 🌈 challah in honor of Parshas Noach. Looking forward to our first day of classes on Sunday.

In honor of Yom HaZikaron we had the opportunity to hear from Sergio Geralnik & Caryn Gale, 2 volunteers who went down South on October 7th to help save lives. They shared their experiences of that horrific day.
We then went to the military cemetery on Har Hertzl and joined together in the collective loss of our nation.
We are so grateful for those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can be free in our land.
