Mango Custard Pudding
Ingredients:
Mango custard powder - 4-5 tbsp
Milk - 2 .5 cup
Sugar - 5 tsp
Mango, pomegranate and chocolate syrup for decoration
Procedure:
Mix Custard powder with 5 tbsp of cold milk and set it aside.
Then boil the remaining milk in a pan and let it boil for a minute or two. The idea is to thicken the milk a little.
Once the milk is boiled, add the custard powder mixed milk into the boiling milk.
Add sugar and stir continuously.
Keep stirring till the sugar gets dissolved and the desired consistency is achieved.
When the custard mixture is mixed well, transfer it into a container.
Cover it with a foil and steam it for 10 minutes
Post steaming, let it cool to the room temperature
Then put it in the fridge for 6 - 8 hrs.
Garnish with chopped mangoes and fruits of your choice and drizzle with some chocolate syrup.
Kung Pao Paneer with rice noodles
Recipe as 👇
Ingredients:
Paneer 100gms
Capsicum 1
Onion 1
Garlic cloves 3-5
Red chilly/Peri Peri Chilly 3
Roasted peanuts 2tbsp
Chilly sauce 1Tbsp
Red Chilly Sauce 1tbsp
Hoisin Sauce 1Tbsp
Tomato sauce 1tbsp
Vinegar 1tsp
Sugar 1tsp
Cornstarch 2tbsp
Salt as per the requirement
Process:
Coat the Paneer cubes with 1tbsp cornstarch, red chilly powder, salt and then fry them.
Once they are fried from all sides, set them aside and in the same pan fry capsicum and set them separately.
Next add oil if required. Fry chopped garlic till it's is slightly brown. Then add onions till is gets slightly caramelized and red chilly(I added peri peri chilly).
Finally the mixture of sauces like red chilli, tomato, soy sauce, vinegar and hoisin. Post that add slurry made with 1tbsp cornstarch and sugar.
Consistency depends on preference and once the desired consistency is achieved add the fried capsicum, paneer and at last roasted peanuts. Drizzle some roasted sesame seeds for extra flavour and crunch
Noodles:
For the noodles it was just boiled with salt with once water was drained I drizzled olive oil and sesame seeds
