Today is World Down Syndrome Day. Let's take a moment to understand that the focus isn't on highlighting disabilities; rather, it's about recognizing and celebrating capabilities.

A beautiful and heartfelt poem written by one of our interns, who was part of our Sameti program. It was a beautiful experience for us to see the interns and the students interact with love, joy and giggles.
The goal is to continue to foster an environment where every individual, regardless of their differences, feels valued, appreciated, and empowered to shine. Together, we create a world that not only embraces diversity but celebrates it as the cornerstone of our shared success.

The growing awareness of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in India has encouraged caregivers to embrace AAC as a crucial communication tool for their children. However, a shortage of trained speech therapists and AAC practitioners poses obstacles, leading to service delays. Empowering caregivers through training allows them to proficiently educate their children in AAC use, fostering effective communication. This approach not only aids the children but also empowers caregivers to be advocates, ensuring comprehensive care and communication support.

We are immensely grateful, and on behalf of Ishanya India Foundation, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Mrs. Sudha Murty, Chairperson of Murty Trust, and Ocwen Financial Solutions, for their generous grant.

We had a fruitful meeting today with the esteemed Disability Commissioner, Sri Das Suryavamshi, along with former commissioners Rajanna sir & Basavaraju sir.

We discussed the vital workings of various departments dedicated to disability support, including the RBSK team, VRWs, MRWs, DDRC & NGO's & we also spoke about the steps that should be taken to address the gaps to further strengthen the Disability sector.

It's inspiring to see the collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing accessibility and inclusivity for persons with disabilities. Looking forward to driving positive change together!

Packing a hamper for an event by arranging and packaging a collection of items in a decorative and presentable way. Ishanya students are making hampers for guests, by putting together a selection of items to provide a thoughtful and often practical gift.

One of our students, working on his fine motor skills in Siddhi, a one-on-one remedial programme.
Neurodivergent children often benefit from tailored interventions that address their specific needs. Fine motor skill development programs can be customized to accommodate individual strengths and challenges, fostering a supportive environment for progress.

Siddhi our 1:1 remedial program was created to provide individualized attention to individuals who may not benefit from a group program.
We employ an eclectic approach during this one-on-one session, keeping in mind the various unique needs and abilities of each child.

We aim to simulate a corporate setting for our students to give them a glimpse of the corporate world and inculcate a habit of discipline from day one.
In our program, we create a hands-on experience that goes beyond just learning theories. We focus on giving practical insights to our students, helping them understand how things work in the real professional world.

At Ishanya Creative Labs, we have been tirelessly working to discover the perfect opportunities for our dedicated students. Some of them have been honing their skills with us for over 3+ years in graphic design, photo/video editing, and 3D design. When we received the chance to showcase our work at an event, we were overjoyed. Little did we know that our creations would captivate numerous individuals and that two of our artists would be recognized!

Ganesh’s artwork was chosen to present to Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi , while Sai Pranav's work received adoration and was even auctioned at a fundraising exhibition during the Adobe-CSR event.

We are immensely thankful to Nidhi Mishra from Bookosmia and Monisha Hatkar from I M Possible & SMA-ART for granting our talented artists at Ishanya with this incredible opportunity to showcase their artwork.

Our proud student from the Sameti program with his hydrophonic plant that he grew as a part of his assignment after reading the story “Shruti Floats an Idea” on StoryWeaver. The story details the steps to grow plants in water and the student applied the steps to grow this beautiful plant from seed.

‘Sameti’ is a Pre-Academic Skills Program. It has been designed to cater to learning in a group setting, in order to improve and enhance the process of socialization in children with varied learning needs. We employ an eclectic approach in our teaching and learning methods.

During this remarkable gathering, we celebrated impactful achievements, touching the lives of 4000+ beneficiaries and engaging 2000+ stakeholders. Our partnerships expanded, paving the way for innovative solutions and valuable knowledge exchange.

We're thrilled to share that Ishanya India Foundation with the support from CSR partner Thomson Reuters donated special education resource kits to 15 organizations, further enhancing our collective efforts towards empowerment of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಸರ್ವ ಭಾಗೀದಾರರ ಸಭೆ 2023 ಒಂದು ನೈಜವಾದ ಪರಿವರ್ತನಾಶೀಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಗೌರವ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ 9 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ 18 ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ನೋಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸಭೆಯು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಬಲವಾದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬದ್ಧತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ.ಪಿ.ವಿ.ಭಂಡಾರಿಯವರು ವಿಕಲಚೇತರನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಯೋಚನಾ ಪ್ರಚೋದಕ ಮುಖ್ಯಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
4000+ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿರುವ ಮತ್ತು 2000+ ಭಾಗೀದಾರರನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಕೂಟದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಆಚರಿಸಿದೆವು. ನವೀನ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಯುತ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿನಿಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವವೂ ಕೂಡ ವಿಸ್ತೃತಗೊಂಡಿವೆ.

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility ಕಾರ್ಪೋರೇಟ್‌ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬದ್ಧತೆ) ಪಾಲುದಾರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಥಾಮ್ಸನ್ ರಾಯಿಟರ್ಸ್ ಅವರ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಶಾನ್ಯಾ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ವಿಶೇಷ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕಿಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು 15 ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಾವು ಪುಳಕಿತಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
