The process of healing is not smooth. When it comes to taking care of self it's not only some self care steps that would heal you. Everything is important. Reflect within and try noticing are you pushing something away just because it is too stressful for you to face? If you want over-all wellbeing, identifying and facing the issues would always be the best thing to do.
We often jump into conclusions and feel bad on the basis of our assumptions. We close the doors and windows of our mind. Dear, let your rational mind speak. Do not suffocate yourself with assumptions. Allow your mind to think rationally as your assumptions might give you emotions that are not helping you.
If we don’t respect our own limits, others may not respect them either. Not setting boundaries or limitations on our time and personal space can also make it harder for others to tell when or why they've asked us to do too much.
Setting healthy boundaries helps you maintain the right balance in our schedule and in our life. It gives us permission to say no.

Watch your Perceptions. Observe them carefully. Eventually they will turn into thoughts then words and then into actions. Your actions eventually turn into your habits and shape your character which in turn will define the path of your life.
You may wonder why to Observe... why to even bother???
It all starts with your Perceptions. Set your expectations wisely. Our Perceptions leads us to our destiny.
Mental Health in an Unequal world.
🥳This World Mental Health Day is very specially to us. Yes, its been a year. Free Bird is 1 year old now🧚♀️.
The journey has been a roller-coaster ride. Free Bird Psychological Services officially managed to take its teeny- tiny steps and yes it's our 1st birthday. Happy Birthday to Free Bird.🥳💫💖
Growing as a person depends on the balance between your strengths and weaknesses🍁. Know them, own them. A balanced view of ourselves helps us cope better with whatever life has to offer🍃.
Your Expectation Matters.
Your expectation determines your well-being.
When you interpret the situation a certain way, it colors your perception in that manner. Choose to take a better perspective. It empowers us.
There are things beyond our understanding. Sometimes we keep wondering why are we experiencing some emotions. We go clueless. Sometimes it becomes difficult for us to realize why the person next to us are experiencing certain things. Mere invalidating or being resistant to accept something doesn't make it non-existent.
Wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day
🇮🇳🙏

A sorry can bring a smile back! Think about it...
An often overlooked and casually handled issue is parental criticism. It mostly involves problematic behaviors such as comparing one’s child to others, only recognizing their failures, harsh commenting and projecting one’s regrets and insecurities onto them. When children experience these behaviors, they form negative belief systems about themselves that affect them for the rest of their lives.
Some of the consequences of parental criticism include low self-esteem, poor self worth, feeling of hopelessness about one’s ability to be successful, and complete dependency on external validation. These consequences contributes in forming a cognitively biased self perception leading to negative behaviors that continue to perpetuate negative thoughts and feelings in a vicious cycle.
There is no harm in being aware, monitoring one's own behavior and modifying them.

Psychological Trauma is an overwhelming emotional experience or response to any terrible situation or event. It results when enormous stress jeopardizes a person and can cause long lasting Psychological impact.
Psychological Trauma, if not addressed properly, may evoke intense fear, distress, and horror which is nothing close to any ordinary experience. This can affect the thoughts, perception, self image, behavior etc. It is sometimes difficult to get to understand it from outside, as mostly they leave invisible scars.
SOME OF THE CAUSES ARE:
~ NATURAL DISASTER
~ ACCIDENTS
~ PHYSICAL OR SEXUAL ASSAULT
~ DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
~ EMOTIONAL ABUSE
~ DIAGNOSIS OF A SERIOUS ILLNESS
~ SUDDEN DEATH OF LOVED ONE
~ BULLYING
~ BETRAYAL
~ WITNESSING SOMEONE SUFFERING FROM ANY OF THE ABOVE OR ANY SERIOUS ILLNESS.
Psychological treatment for such trauma is always person specific and can include psychiatric medication as well as psychotherapy. Sometimes the distress burden is shared by the entire family. Therefore therapy may also involve family members. Specific trauma -focused psychological intervention is recommended if there is any possibility that somebody is going through such terrible situation.

Mess up, but then get up. IT'S OKAY. Cry, if you want to but understand that you can mess up. But what is more important, is to get up again. Believe in yourself. Most often, if we are not being able to reach the standards that we set for ourselves, we feel terrible and hold very low regards for self. That is not needed. You can fall short, give yourself scope to learn and move ahead.
The sense of one's own value or worth needs to come unconditionally from within. A true sense of self worth can be cultivated through a dose of self compassion. To grow in life the only person who needs to have faith in your ideas and dreams is You. Give time to value SELF.
Are you seeing Dr. Google? 🤔
Well, the problem arises when we rely too much on Google.
We Google symptoms and self-diagnose before we decide whether or not to see a professional health service provider (a Physician or a Mental health professional ).
While the Internet is a smart choice for several types of research, replacing a professional diagnosis is not one of them. Not all results are credible, which can make matters more complicated by causing panic for no real reason. Searching on Google for medical information can guide users to the right direction sometimes. However, self-diagnosis after that, can make users think that a simple headache is a symptom of a brain tumor, nasal congestion is a sinus infection, and an abdominal cramp is appendicitis.
Information from Google, according to research evidences, often is misleading and exaggerates the situation or underestimates it. This often leads to excessive worrying and anxiety, especially in people with no medical training.
BEING CAUTIOUS IS GOOD, BUT ENDING UP AT SELF DIAGNOSIS IS HARMFUL. BE AWARE.
🙏
Good morning peeps. There is no harm in being kind and gentle with others and taking broader perspectives. There's always room for little empathy and consideration.
Wow.
🌼 Forgiveness means doing the work necessary to process and understand the feelings of pain from an experience, allowing it to move through you, then coming out the other side ready to forgive but not forget.
🌼 Forgiveness is something you do for yourself.
Remember that forgiveness doesn’t mean you have to tell the other person that you forgive them.
🌼 You forgive to set yourself and your heart free, and this does not mean you have to re-establish a relationship.
🌼 You absolutely do not have to let them back into your life.
🌼 Forgiveness does not mean forgetting.
It also does not mean what happened was okay.
🌼Forgiveness sets you free from the trauma and the other person.
🌼 Forgiveness is for you not the other person.
🌼 Forgiveness gives you your power, and love for yourself and your life back
🌼 Forgiveness means you have all the teachings you need from the experience and now you’re living life fully alive and free.
🌼 I’ve made a handful of pretty hefty mistakes in my life. I’ve gone through the feelings and emotions and consequences of my mistakes. I’ve learned and adjusted my thoughts and behaviors accordingly. Everything that I’ve gone through will be incomplete, if I don’t intend to forgive myself for my actions.
🌼 You deserve the love and forgiveness that you are so willing to share with others. You deserve to be set free from your past so that you can live a better present. I wish that for all of you. 💛 Michelle Maros
