Odisha shine as a Biotech Hub!

As a knowledge partner, Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation hosted the Odisha state delegation at Mega Global Bio India 2023. Led by Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Ashok Chandra Panda and Principal Secretary Smt Chithra Arumugam, the delegation showcased the state's biotech prowess.

10 promising startups from the state working on various realm of biotechnology and KIIT TBI & Dbt-Ils Bhubaneswar Bioincubator were also part of this journey.

BCKIC CSR Conclave: Enabling Technology Deployment for Societal Impact

In a remarkable CSR Conclave organized by Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation, more than 100 participants, comprising CSR leaders, startups, and incubator authorities, gathered to delve into the theme of ‘Advancing Social Impact through Technology Deployment.’

The occasion facilitated engaging and collaborative discussions among a diverse group of enablers, incorporating valuable insights from Dr J A Chowdary (JA), Founder of International Startup Foundation and impactful message from Dr (Mrs.) Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, O/o PSA to GoI and Sarita Bahl of Bayer Foundation.

More than 20 startups across various sectors showcased their innovative solutions, earning widespread acclaim and sparking engaging discussions. Delighted to share a recent milestone!

Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation through its IPR FAME program (Facilitation, Assistance, and Mentorship for Entrepreneurs), collaborated with BRTC A BIRAC-KIIT-TBI Initiative for an insightful workshop on Fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights. Held on Nov 3rd and 6th, 2023, the workshop commenced with a masterclass covering crucial aspects like IP fundamentals, patentability search, and drafting, as well as patent prosecution.
