He is Director of Nutriciana Healthcare Pvt Ltd and Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at NIPER-Guwahati. Dr. Banerjee's innovative nutritional food product to fight child malnutrition, developed through incubation support from KIIT-TBI Bhubaneswar and co-incubation at BioNEST NIPER-G, has been approved by FSSAI. This is NIPER-Guwahati's first product approved by FSSAI to combat malnutrition in children. This achievement represents a significant stride for innovators and entrepreneurs in the North East, paving the way for scientific progress and the betterment of all the states in the region.
