Silicon Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the Indian Gateball Union (IGU), hosted the Indian Open Gateball Tournament 2023! The event was inaugurated by Mr. Satyabrata Sahu, IAS, and witnessed thrilling matches. Twenty-four international teams, including Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Thailand, alongside ten national teams, showcased their best game.

The tournament featured skillful games—a day of intense Doubles matches followed by the team event. Indonesia claimed the Doubles championship, with IGU, Odisha, securing the runners-up position.

The closing ceremony was graced by Er. Manoranjan Misra, Engineer-in-Chief (Civil), Govt. of Odisha.

SiliconTech organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Unit 8 Red Cross team on 4 November 2023.

We collected 105 units of blood in total due to the generous contribution made by our staff and students. The Red Cross has rewarded SiliconTech with 11 blood bank coupons, which will serve as a lifeline during emergencies.

The "Angul Hospital & Research Foundation" and "Barbil Hospital & Research Foundation" will offer affordable healthcare, each with 200 beds. Projects kick off in November 2023, targeting operational status within 24 months.

Under the MOU, Silicon Institute of Technology, renowned for quality education at a reasonable cost, leads a private consortium in partnership with Utkal Hospital Bhubaneswar.
