ਛੇਵੀਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਠਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ 'ਮੁੰਡਾ ਕੁੜੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਨ' ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਲੋਗਨ ਲੇਖਨ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਤੇ ਕਲਾਤਮਕ ਰੁਚੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਜਮਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਧ ਚੜ ਕੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਬੜੇ ਜੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।

ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ ਗੀਤ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕ ਗੀਤ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੈਅ ਨਾਲ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਜਮਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 'ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ' ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ 'ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਣਾ ਲਾਲਚ ਜਾਂ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ' ਅਤੇ 'ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਭਰੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਡਾਣ' ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੜੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੁੁੱਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਜੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਬੋਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਬਤਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ।

Stellar CBSE Result of our shining stars in Class X & XII (2023-24)

"Never miss a chance to dance."

‘Groove Mania’ - a solo dance activity was organized for the students of Pre -primary wing. The theme of the activity was 'Childhood'. The event spread over 5 days began with great ecstasy. Students clad in vibrant and flashy accoutrement set the stage alive while whirling and twirling to the rhythmic beats of melodious and peppy numbers.

Their dance moves, facial expressions with poise made the performances enthralling. Buddy spectators mirthfully nudged each other and eulogized while watching their dancer friends grooving on the stage. The event fostered creative expression and was enjoyed by one and all alike.

Jinisha Mahajan and Nabhya Dangwal made it to the 4th level (National level) of VIDYARTHI VIGYAN MANTHAN (VVM).

The National camp was organized on 18th and 19th May 2024 at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (ISER) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Jinisha Mahajan, our student of class VII got the 3rd position in the North Zone during the National Level Camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023-24.
She was presented the memento and cash prize by Dr. Rajiv Bahl, the Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Health Research, and Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research. She has got an opportunity to participate in an Extensive Training cm Internship (1 to 3 weeks) in any one of the reputed national labs or premier research institutions like DRDO, ISRO, CSIR, BARC etc.

Nabhya Dangwal, our student of class VIII also attended the National Level Camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023-24 and got the participation certificate.

भावार्थ: अपनी भाषा से ही उन्नति हो सकती है क्योंकि यही सारी उन्नतियों का मूल आधार है। मातृभाषा के ज्ञान के बिना हृदय की पीड़ा का निवारण संभव नहीं है। विभिन्न प्रकार की कलाएँ, असीमित शिक्षा तथा ज्ञान, सभी देशों से जरूर लेने चाहिए परन्तु उनका प्रचार मातृभाषा के द्वारा ही करना चाहिए।

'हिंदी' भारतीय संस्कृति की आत्मा है। यह हमारे राष्ट्र की अभिव्यक्ति का सरलतम माध्यम है। इसी उद्देश्य को चरितार्थ करते हुए दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, जालंधर में 6 मई - 20 मई 2024 तक ’हिंदी पखवाड़ा’ मनाया गया, जिसमें कक्षा छठी से दसवीं तक के विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। उन्होंने ‘लड़का–लड़की एक समान’ विषय के अंतर्गत नारा लेखन, चित्र वर्णन, विज्ञापन निर्माण आदि विभिन्न गतिविधियों में हिस्सा लेकर अपनी क्रियात्मक प्रतिभा का परिचय दिया। इसके साथ ही वाद-विवाद तथा कविता उच्चारण जैसी प्रतियोगिताएँ भी करवाई गईं, जिसमें न केवल उन्होंने गंभीर सामाजिक मुद्दों पर बेबाकी से अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए, अपितु हिंदी साहित्य जगत के सुप्रसिद्ध कवियों की प्रेरणादायक कविताएँ पेश करते हुए खूब वाहवाही लूटी। प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती ऋतु कौल जी द्वारा विद्यार्थियों को अपनी समृद्ध तथा पुरातन भाषा का सम्मान करने व गर्व सहित इसका प्रचार– प्रसार करने की प्रेरणा दी गई।

Delhi Public School Jalandhar is collaborating with Trinity College London this session. An orientation session for the teachers was conducted on 25-05-2024 in the school.

The resource person, Ms Kimberly Tracy D’Souza gave an overview of the Trinity programmes and guided the teachers about the practical techniques required for the conduct of the classes.

Her expertise in the field and passion for teaching inspired the attendees.The session was incredibly enlightening and enriching.

Delhi Public School Jalandhar celebrates the remarkable performance of its students in the CBSE Class X Board Examination for the 2023-24 academic year.

Once again, the school has demonstrated excellence, with top scorers achieving an impressive 97.6 per cent.

In these results, 44 per cent students have scored more than 90 per cent, while 73 per cent students obtained 80 per cent and above aggregate. Notably, 16 students have achieved a perfect 100 in different subjects.

Pro Vice Chairman, Thakur Arun Singh congratulated the students for their outstanding result. He acknowledged the relentless effort by the teachers and admirable support of the parents.

Principal, Ms. Ritu Kaul applauded the students for their diligent effort which eventually made them achieve the coveted result.

The students have upheld the school's tradition of excellence, with Mahtab Kaur from the Commerce stream achieving a remarkable score of 97.4 per cent.

Additionally, the second topper, Rachit Jain from the Commerce stream achieved an impressive 97 per cent followed by Ishaan Gulati from Non-Medical Stream scoring 96.6 per cent.

39% students have secured more than 90 per cent aggregate while 74% students scored above 80 percent. Notably, nine students have achieved a perfect score of 100 across various subjects.
