Cancer Fight Foundation is a non-profit organisation that started with like minded people in October 2015 based in Kolkata.
Our mission is to help those suffering from this terminal disease. Our motto is " Where there is Hope, there is Life"..

The event aimed to bring joy to these resilient youngsters, providing a magical escape from their challenging circumstances. Filled with laughter, games, and special surprises, the party created precious memories, reminding everyone that the spirit of giving shines brightly, especially during the holiday season. The Foundation continues its mission to uplift and support these brave children in their fight against cancer.

On December 3, 2023, Cancer Fight Foundation, in collaboration with Hameo Chhahari (NGO, Kalimpong),organized a Cancer Awareness Camp in Kalimpong. Our commitment to raising awareness about cancer in the community remains steadfast, and we are excited to announce the upcoming establishment of another Cancer Fight Foundation center in Kalimpong. We aim to reach and educate even more people about the importance of cancer awareness and prevention.
Cancer Fight Foundation arranged the 8th Stoma Care training of this year, for the nurses at Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre & Research Institute (SGCRI) on 1st Dec.'23 whereby the nurses were taught in detail the use of Stoma bags to assist the Colon Cancer Patients patients. Mr Sudipta from Coloplast did the demonstration.

On November 7th, 2023, the dedicated volunteers of the Cancer Fight Foundation made a heartwarming visit to Mrs Majiffa a courageous Colon Cancer patient of NSH Hospital (Howrah). Cancer Fight Foundation consistently extends its support to Majiffa who is a resident of Bardhaman by providing essential Stoma accessories. During their visit, she openly shared her inspiring journey of resilience in the face of cancer. Majiffa's heartfelt gratitude knows no bounds, and she expressed her deep appreciation to the Foundation for their unwavering assistance in her battle against this formidable disease. ππ

Cancer Fight Foundation celebrates Janmashtami with the paediatric cancer patients of Institute of Child Health, Kolkata.. They enjoyed the puppet show by DANA immensely.
Cancer Fight Foundation held a Cancer Awareness Program at Garden Reach Mudiali Girls High School, Kolkata on 2nd September'23 in the gracious presence of Smt.Santwana Sen Sharma, Headmistress. Sixty students of the school enthusiastically attended the program.

A Stoma Survivor's Meet was organised by Cancer Fight Foundation in association with Saroj Gupta Cancer Centre and Research Institute (SGCRI Thakurpukur) at the hospital's premises on 11th August'23. The event was graced with the presence of Dr.Arnab Gupta, Director of SGCRI, Dr.Gautam Bhattacharya, Asst.Secretary and Dr.Achintya Das, Chairman of Cancer Fight Foundation.
Staff of the hospital, representative of Coloplast and Colon Cancer survivors of the hospital and their caregivers also attended the event. In addition to speeches by the guests and sharing of experiences by survivors, dance performances by two brave paediatric survivors,Jeet Mondol and Isha Jaiswal and a song by Colon Cancer survivor, Nabanita livened up the event.

ππ€πͺπΌπThe Cancer Fight Foundation organized a puppet show at the Institute of Child Health in Kolkata on 9th August, presented by the organization DANA. Members Sunanda Chatterjee, Lipika Sarkar, and Taruna Mukherjee from DANA performed engaging acts for pediatric cancer patients, bringing joy to the children. Smt.Sunanda Chatterjee in memory of her elder sister also donated funds to the Cancer Fight Foundation and provided Nutrition Drink Powder and medicated soaps to the kids. We thank her for these compassionate actions of her.ππποΈπ€ΉββοΈπΆβ€οΈππ€πͺπΌπ

Volunteers of Cancer Fight Foundation standing beside Cancer Survivors:
Our volunteers regularly visit cancer survivors to give them the much needed moral support as well as to give them basic material needs. On 1st August'23, our volunteers visited the family of Mr Moron Das, a colon cancer survivor, who lives in Nungi (Budge Budge). He is one of the many survivors supported by Cancer Fight Foundation . He was given rations and clothes,- an endeavour from our side to make his life a little more comfortable. ποΈπͺβοΈ

A Cancer Awareness Camp was held by Cancer Fight Foundation under the gracious presence of CO Susan Roy at the 1 Bengal Girls Batallion NCC (Kolkata) on 29th July'23. The girls were educated in detail about the various kinds of cancer, symptoms and their prevention. Focus was laid on the cancer which are more prevalent in women so that the young girls become aware about these at a tender age and are able to carry on the message to their near and dear ones. CO Susan Roy addressed the cadets appreciating CFF's endeavour, mentioning that the program has been truly a detailed and beneficial one. She also spoke on the importance of discipline and how practising it, one can always be on guard regarding one's health.ποΈπͺβοΈ

Today a well wisher of Cancer Fight Foundation, Soumantika Tat visited the Cancer Ward of Institute of Child Health (Kolkata ) along with us and spent some time with the children. She distributed toys and other goodies amongst the kids and helped the kids in colouring the drawings made by her. We thank her for her kind support and we welcome this type of visits from everyone which serves in bringing joy to the children.β€οΈπποΈ

Our Cancer Awareness Camp held on 19th July'23 at Eastern Command Stationery Study Depot, Baranagar 22nd Battalion NCC was a Huge Success!
The cadets were educated on various aspects related to cancer, including prevention, early detection, risk factors, treatment options, and supportive care. The aim of the camp was to educate more and more people about cancer, raise awareness, and promote a healthier lifestyle to reduce the risk of cancer development.
