Sharing 4 months followup of a young 25 year old male.
He initially came with broken thigh and leg bones with a large wound over knee and leg after he was hit by a truck.
Patient was operated in 3 stages.
Initially wound debridement & fixator was done followed by leg surgery in 2nd stage and thigh surgery in 3rd stage ensuring proper wound cleaning & healing at all times.
Now the patient is walking full weight bearing without any support and all the wounds fully healed.
Prompt and appropriate management at right stages is the way to treat multiple bony injuries with big wounds.
