Native Trees Nursery ( ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੌਦ ਘਰ)
ਖਾਲਸਾ ਏਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਜੰਗਲ ਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਡਾ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੱਖੇਵਾਲੀ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ native trees ਦੀਆਂ 68 ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਮਿਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀਆਂ।
ਖਾਲਸਾ ਏਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਜੈਵਿਕ ਵਿਭਿੰਨਤਾ (Biodiversity) ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਫੁੱਲਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਵ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ 68 ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੋਗਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਖੋਸਾ ਰਣਧੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੌਦ ਘਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪੌਦ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ 5 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਬੂਟੇ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹਾਜਰੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਭਰੋ ਜੀ।
ਅਸੀਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ (ਜੋ ਖੁਦ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਹਨ) ਜੀ ਦੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਏਡ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਕਨਾਲ਼ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ ਡਾ ਲੱਖੇਵਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ, ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਲਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਜ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਜੋ ਇਸ ਪੌਦ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਗਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅਲੱਗ ਅਲੱਗ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
