The speakers assisted the participants to understand the world of entrepreneurship. They talked about the details of starting and managing a business journey. A workshop on Cyber Security-Making the Internet safe was conducted at ACIC RISE Association. Mr. UTTAM SINGH was the Keynote speaker who is having expertise in Cyber security Intrusion detection, Malware detection, and information security, Vulnerability scanning, Digital Forensics and Security Audit. He is a certified Ethical hacker, Certified System Auditor, Cyber Incident Response Certified Malware Analyst and has been working with SecureHack Pvt Ltd. as a Cyber security analyst.
In an age dominated by connectivity, understanding the intricacies of cyber security is crucial for protecting ourselves and our communities. Through this workshop, he empowered students with the essential knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital realm securely. Students from various streams attended this workshop with great enthusiasm. Topics covered in this workshop included basics of cyber security, threats in 7layers of OSI model, network security, honeypot tools, and various types of cyber-attacks.

Dr. Ruchi Singla , Director of ACIC RISE Association provided an insightful overview of the association's mission and its commitment to nurturing budding entrepreneurs and innovative ideas. She emphasized the importance of creating an ecosystem that supports and accelerates the growth of startups. This Meet proved to be an enriching experience for the Shivalik School students. They left with a deeper understanding of the incubation process, the support systems available for startups, and how they, as students, can tap into these resources to nurture their own entrepreneurial aspirations. The exposure to the labs further fueled their curiosity and passion for innovation, setting the stage for potential future collaborations between the ATL lab and ACIC RISE Association.

ACIC RISE Association has triumphantly concluded an exhilarating 8-week online Student Innovator Program (SIP) with five esteemed schools in Punjab, meticulously following the guidelines set by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM). The primary objective of this program was to champion student teams on a path from refining business/product pitches to creating compelling presentations and developing comprehensive product packages.
This Program was fueled by the passion for innovation and the desire to nurture the brightest minds. Throughout the program, students with the most ingenious ideas were not only honing their entrepreneurial skills but were also given an excellent opportunity to collaborate with incubators, providing them with a real-world platform to shape their innovative visions.

We are excited to introduce the Innovation Challenge 2.0, an initiative aimed at fostering innovation and creativity among school students across India. Organized jointly by ACIC RISE Association CEC Landran and Innow8 (Our Incubated Startup) this challenge focuses on six vital areas: Smart Mobility and Safety, Advanced Manufacturing, Agritech, Waste Management, Disaster Management, and Healthcare Innovation.
The Challenge Details:
Duration: The Innovation Challenge 2.0 is scheduled to commence on December 12th, 2023, and will run until January 31st, 2024.
Participants: Open to students from classes 6th to 12th, this challenge encourages young minds to engage and contribute their innovative solutions.

The first three phases of the 8-week Student Innovator Program (SIP) organized by ACIC Rise Association, Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran, Mohali are proving to be an intense learning experience for the diverse teams of schools from the Punjab region. The program strategically guided students through the entrepreneurial journey, commencing with ideation and a critical analysis of the gaps between their innovative ideas and practical realities of the business world. The foundational week set the stage for subsequent activities, as participants engaged with ACIC's staff to refine and shape their concepts. The second week delved into the real-world insights of start-up founders, encouraging self-reflection through SWOT analysis and providing a comprehensive understanding of the requisites of a business model canvas . The third week featured captivating sessions on the IPR. This went incredibly well as the ACIC's staff interacted with all the teams and learned about their unique ideas.

ACIC RISE Association organized an expert session on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive technology by Dr. shivani verma, Amity Institute of space science and technology, Amity University Noida. The session highlighted the importance of AI-based gait evaluation, Machine learning and deep learning and demonstrated the use of various tools and algorithms. The entire session was enriched by many practical and realistic examples. In addition to this, participants learned how to leverage AI and cognitive technique based technology for superior defense capabilities. It was a very good learning experience and the lecture helped participants in understanding the basics of AI and how to apply the concepts learned to do projects. At the end, a question and answer session was conducted where the doubts of participants were addressed.

ACIC RISE Association’s incubatee Mr. Ravinder Bishnoi from KieKie Pvt Ltd participated in Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), a competition organized by Entrepreneurs' Organization, Noida. He cleared the screening and semi-final round virtually and the final was held at the Leela place Delhi.
In the final witnessed 10 startups from all over India, Ravinder Bishnoi presented his novel invention Vehicle Horn Control Assembly Model and received second runner up award in this national level competition.

The Idea Manthan - 2.0, hosted at CGC Landran by ACIC RISE Association on December 12th and 13th, 2023, marked a significant milestone in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Distinguished speakers and guests, including Dr. Prof. Unnat P Pandit Ji, Office Of The Controller General Of Patents, Designs And Trade Marks (CGPDTM), and Trade, Dr. Deepindar dhillon, Joint Director of Startup Punjab(GoP), and Sh. Satish Kumar Arora, Vice President of TiE Chandigarh, shared invaluable insights., emphasizing the critical role of intellectual property and the need for a robust innovation ecosystem, they set the tone for the event.
The event received an overwhelming response, with 100 innovative ideas submitted from across India. After a rigorous evaluation, 30 teams were shortlisted, showcasing exceptional creativity and potential.
The top three winning teams, ProTechTor, Rakri, and RiBioP AgroTech Pvt Ltd, were awarded cash prizes of INR 50,000, INR 30,000, and INR 20,000, respectively by Startup Punjab officials, and NS Jassal, Senior Principal Scientist at CSIO Chandigarh, were also conferred to recognize outstanding contributions to innovation and entrepreneurship.
This event not only celebrated exceptional creativity but also laid the foundation for future innovation, promising to shape India's inventive prowess and societal progress. Congratulations to all participants and winners!

Team ACIC RISE Association and Faculty of ME Department, guided by Ruchi Singla (Director R&D) and Dr Rajdeep Singh (Executive Director, CGC Landran), engaged in an insightful online interaction with the Technical Training Wing of Bosch, a German multinational.
Parag Kavthekar, an expert from Bosch, highlighted the potential applications of Bosch-made diagnostic tools and gadgets.
His emphasis was on their utility in inspecting vehicle electronics subsystems and troubleshooting components, covering the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical subsystems. The overarching goal is to establish a certified training program from Bosch, providing hands-on training in the automotive field through certified Bosch trainers. This initiative aims to impart industrial-level experience to startups, students, and
faculty members.

The ACIC RISE Association, CEC Landran, recently organized an ATL ACIC RISE Meet. This event was a unique opportunity for the students of Infant Jesus Convent School having Atal Tinkering Lab to gain exposure to various departmental verticals.
The Vertical Heads of ACIC RISE took the time to explain the workings of their respective verticals and how they can help students for designing projects in the field of Drone Technology, Cyber Security and manufacturing engineering. Students are also exposed about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and trademark filing related work.
In addition to this, a design thinking session was also conducted during the meet. The session was led by Deepak Garg from corechamp technologies, a startup incubated with ACIC RISE. He showcased new and emerging ideas to the students, sparking their creativity and encouraging them to think outside the box.

The ACIC RISE Association, CEC Landran organised two day’s Diwali Fest "Start, Smart and Rise" to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation. In the festival, multitude of entrepreneurs participated and showcased their unique products and services. Mr. Satish Kumar Arora, Ms. Nitika Khurana, Mr. Sahil Makkar and Mr. Govind Kaushik from TiE Chandigarh visited each cubical engaging in one-on-one conversations with the business owners. This provided an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to share their journey, challenges, and aspirations, fostering a sense of community and mutual learning.
The event was graced by our honourable management Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal and esteemed guests, Ms. Karmjit Kaur Dhaliwal and Ms. Bismin Brar. In addition to the entrepreneurial showcase, the festival also embodied the spirit of giving through its Institutional Social Responsibility activity. Our Guests played a pivotal role in this initiative, distributing Diwali presents, clothing, and candles to the underprivileged individuals residing in the nearby slums. ACIC-RISE Association, CEC Landran participated in two days event of diverse activities “Parivartan 2k23”. It was a platform where creativity met technology, and innovation was celebrated. Here, we made our presence in a significant way by showcasing our incubated startups, each one a testament to the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation that we foster within our community. We hosted a drone show for all attendees of the event, adding an element of excitement and wonder to the proceedings. The students of around more than 50 schools and colleges have participated in this event. ACIC RISE extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the event and supported us.
