Emotional management is about being aware of your emotions and being able to manage them effectively. This will help you control your behavior on a day to day basis and also assist you in successfully navigating relationships and stressful times.

26/11/2023

Stress is a common experience that can be caused by various factors such as work, relationships, and health. It can have negative effects on your physical and mental well-being. However, there are several ways to manage stress and regain control of your life. Here are some tips to help you get started:

1. **Identify the sources of stress in your life**: This is the first step in managing stress. It's important to recognize what triggers your stress and how you react to it. You can then take steps to avoid or reduce these stressors.

2. **Cut out unhealthy ways of dealing with stress**: Avoid using alcohol, to***co, or drugs to cope with stress. These can lead to more problems and make stress worse.

3. **Practice the 4 A's of stress management**: These are Avoid, Alter, Adapt, and Accept. Avoid unnecessary stress, alter the situation, adapt to the stressor, or accept the things you can't change.

4. **Get moving**: Exercise is a great way to reduce stress. It helps to release endorphins, which are natural mood boosters.

5. **Connect to others**: Social support is important in managing stress. Talk to friends and family, join a support group, or seek professional help if needed.

6. **Make time for fun and relaxation**: Engage in activities that you enjoy and that help you relax. This can include reading, listening to music, or practicing yoga.

7. **Manage your time better**: Poor time management can lead to stress. Prioritize your tasks and delegate responsibilities when possible.

8. **Maintain balance with a healthy lifestyle**: Eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep, and avoid caffeine and sugar.

9. Learn to relieve stress in the moment : Try deep breathing, meditation, or visualization techniques to help you relax.

Remember, everyone experiences stress differently, so it's important to find what works best for you. Take care of yourself and don't hesitate to seek help if you need it.

It's a very real experience. In mental health terms, a trigger refers to something that affects your emotional state, often significantly, by causing extreme overwhelm or distress. A trigger affects your ability to remain present in the moment. It may bring up specific thought patterns or influence your behavior.

20/11/2023

Cognitive triggers are our brain's tendency to be persuaded by unconscious triggers that affect our decision making process.
Our triggers are rooted in our past traumatic experiences. In an effort to protect us from further harm, our brains scan for stimuli that might indicate a threat. That means that sometimes, we have outsized reactions to seemingly innocuous stimuli.

18/11/2023

An emotional trigger is anything that sparks an intense emotional reaction, regardless of your current mood. It can be a memory, experience, or event that causes you to feel a strong emotion such as anger, sadness, or fear. Identifying your emotional triggers is an important step in managing your emotions and maintaining good emotional health.

To identify your emotional triggers, you can start by paying attention to situations that generate a strong emotional response. You might also experience physical symptoms of anxiety, such as a pounding heart, upset stomach, shakiness, or dizziness . When you notice these signs, stop to consider what just happened and the response it activated. Try following these feelings back to their origins by thinking back on other situations that made you feel what you’re currently feeling .

If you’re struggling to identify your emotional triggers, you can try asking yourself questions such as:

What situations make me feel uncomfortable or anxious?

What topics do I avoid discussing?

What behaviors or actions of others upset me?

What are some of my most painful memories?

What are some of my most joyful memories?

Remember, emotional triggers are different for everyone, and it’s okay to seek professional help if you’re struggling to manage your emotions.

Lunar eclipses are fascinating celestial events that occur when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon’s surface. Here are some pros and cons of lunar eclipses:

Pros:

Lunar eclipses are a beautiful sight to behold. They can be seen from anywhere on Earth where the Moon is visible.
Lunar eclipses can be a great opportunity for stargazers and astronomers to observe the Moon up close and study its surface.

Cons:

Lunar eclipses can cause anxiety or fear in some people due to their association with negative events in history or mythology.
Some people believe that lunar eclipses can have negative effects on human behavior or health, but there is no scientific evidence to support this claim
It’s important to note that lunar eclipses are completely safe to observe with the naked eye, unlike solar eclipses, which require special eye protection

Here are some remedies that people follow during lunar eclipses:

Reciting mantras and prayers is believed to be an effective way to ward off negative energy and protect oneself from the ill effects of the eclipse 2.
Taking a bath before and after the eclipse is considered to be a cleansing ritual that helps purify the body and mind 2.
Some people believe that fasting during the eclipse can help reduce the negative effects of Rahu
Donating to charity or performing acts of kindness during the eclipse is believed to bring good karma and positive energy
It’s important to note that these remedies are based on personal beliefs and cultural traditions. There is no scientific evidence to support their effectiveness in mitigating the negative effects of lunar eclipses. However, if you choose to follow these remedies, it’s essential to do so with respect for the culture and traditions they represent.

Thoughts matter !
Every single thought does 😊

23/10/2023

Negative thoughts are thoughts that cause us to slip, lose hope or that stand in the way of improving your health. A negative thought is usually a criticism of oneself.

So, please avoid negative thoughts 😊. Each thought has a power. Think positive, think powerful 💕
