Many times we feel lots of emotions which may be good, maybe bad, maybe overwhelming and may give us a nightmare!!
How about we see and feel those emotions as waves that come and go?
How about we paint them in different colours to represent them to how we are feeling?
How about we notice that every wave 🌊 that rises goes down and calms down?
Every emotion we feel and experience is a result of anything that's happening around or within us. What we can do is allow ourselves to feel those emotions and accept them as they occur and then think about if it's in our control or not in our control.
I am an Expressive Art Therapy Practitioner and I completely believe that expressive art can provide you with a safe space to feel, accept and express your emotions and manage them effectively while being calm and having fun.
Just try to scribble every time you feel not good or sad or overwhelmed and comment below your experience with this short yet effective activity.

When was the last time you took time out to spend with yourself?
What did you do during that time?
Well I sat down with my colours and paints and just drew my feelings on the paper.
I didn't think about right or wrong, I didn't think of perfection, I didn't think about the colour combination or anything else. I just followed the lead of my emotions. It felt so theraputic and relaxing.

We can see this on today's occasion of Dusshera. Dusshera is celebrated keeping in mind, Victory over the evil. But if we put the emotional, mental and strengths in the perspective, we all have strengths and we can choose to be emotionally and mentally balanced. How we use what we have within us is more important.

3. Not considering that less can be more when it comes to incentives:
Numerous studies have shown that bigger bonuses are less effective than small gestures as it can help build and create a relationship. It can make employee more connected to the company.

We often do things that make others happy and we try and see that they are comfortable, they like what we do, etc.

When you do whatever makes you happy, it helps you to make people happy, helps you believe in yourself, helps you set boundaries, helps you discover and use your strengths optimally so that you can live a positive thriving life

Here are a few small things that you can do to start your day with high energy
• Understand what drains your energy
• Design your personal and professional boundaries according to your understanding of what drains your energy
• Give yourself breaks when you feel that your energy is getting drained without being guilty
• If you feel like recharging yourself in middle of the week, then do something that makes you happy
• Have a proper sleep and nutritious diet
• Include at least 30mins of exercise in your daily routine

Had an Expressive Art Therapy Session for corporates today and it was a good experience.
We do not necessarily have problems in life but we have goals to achieve. In the process of achieving and/or fulfilling those goals we become directionless. All we need at that time is someone who can show what strengths you possess and optimally use them to achieve those goals.
