Vinod & Vaibhav Shah of Islampur donated Skin & Eyes of their father Suresh Bhai J. Shah on 3rd March 2024. This was 145th Eye & 15th Donation co-ordinated Giants Group of Islampur.

मानवी जीव मरणोत्तर गरजू रुग्णांना अवयवदान करून अत्युच्च जीवनदान देवू शकतात. भारतात आजअखेर १००० लोकांनी अवयव दान केले ही संख्या खूपच कमी आहे. यापलिकडे आज देशांत हजारो रूग्णांना नेत्र, हृदय, किडनी, लिव्हर, त्वचा अशा अवयवांच्या प्रत्यारोपणाची आवश्यकता असल्याचे शासन स्तरावर सांगण्यात येते.
जायंटस ग्रुप ऑफ़ इस्लामपूरचे माजी अध्यक्ष राजू ओसवाल यांनी २५ व्या विवाह दिनानिमित्त उभयतांनी अवयवदानाचा संकल्प केला. मानावी देह नश्वर आहे, मृत्यूनंतर या देहातून जीवदान देण्याची क्षमता असल्याने समाजासाठी हा संकल्प त्यांनी केला. त्यांचे बंधू संजय ओसवाल, मुले आकाश, भूमि पत्नी राखी ओसवाल हे सर्व उपस्थित होते.
असे मानतात की प्रत्येक जीव या सृष्टीवर एक ध्येय घेवून जगतो. ते ध्येय पूर्ण करण्यासाठी आपला जन्म झाला असे समजून जीवन जगतो. असे लोक ध्येयाप्रती अत्यंत प्रामाणिकपणे निष्ठेने कर्तव्य पार पाडत राहतात. कोण समाजसेवा करतात, कोण देशसेवेसाठी सैनिक बनतो, कोण पुढच्या पिढीला सुशिक्षित बनविण्यासाठी शिक्षण देतो, कोण पर्यावरण संवर्धन करतो, कोण आरोग्य सेवक बनतो, कोण वाचनालय चालवितो, कोण जनजागृती करतो अश्याच प्रकारे अवयव दान संकल्प जनजागृती करणे हे देखील कर्तव्य समजून अवयवदान मोहिमेमध्ये लोक सहभागी होत आहेत. अवयवदानाची जनजागृती मोठ्या प्रमाणात व्हावी या उद्देशाने जायंटस वेलफेअर फाऊंडेशन कडून संकल्प फॉर्म भरून घेतले जात आहेत.
अवयवदान हे चिंतनीय समाजोपयोगी कार्य चिरंतन सुरू राहावे याकरिता जायंटससारख्या अन्य समाज सेवी संस्था तळमळीने कार्य करावे हा संदेश या उपक्रमातून जायंटस देत आहे.
जायंटस ग्रुपच्या वतीने अध्यक्ष अर्जुन पाटील, कार्यवाह सिद्धार्थ वाळवेकर, फेडरेशनचे दुष्यंत राजमाने, भूषण शहा यांनी ओसवाल कुटुंबीयांचे विशेष आभार मानले व शुभेच्छा दिल्या.

*Heavy rains disrupted Giants Group's project on the sixth day of its service week in Ranchi.*
*Despite this, the enthusiasm of the group members was palpable. Two projects took place today – awareness campaign on organ donation and traffic safety campaign.*
*On this occasion, pamphlets related to organ donation were distributed among the visiting masons and through traffic placards.*
*Their importance was explained. The special thing was that it was organized amidst rain at the busy intersection of Upper Bazaar.*
*Giants VK Kapoor, Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Pramod Ranjan, Deepak Jain, Pramod Gupta, Anup Chakraborty etc. contributed in making the program successful.*

19/9/23 on 2nd day of Giants Seva Week, Organ Donation Awareness program was organized by Giants Saheli Jabalpur for the nursing students & staff at Lady Elgin Hospital.
Past President of Fed. 7, Mrs. Dr. G K Malhotra gave talk on importance of Organ Donation "*Recycle Life*", Inspired by this 14 students & 5 staff pledged to donate organs by singing pledge form.
