ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J300 Wanju Crowns Champions.

In the boys’ singles category, top-seeded Hoyoung Roh from Korea emerged victorious, defeating Rethin Pranav of India in a thrilling match with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(7). This win marked Roh’s third title in 2024. Roh also took home the doubles title with partner Amir Omarkhanov.

Meanwhile, in the girls’ singles category, Yushan Shao from China claimed the title, defeating her compatriot Yihan Qu with a score of 6-1, 6-4. This is Shao’s second title in 2024.

The girls’ doubles title was won by Korean duo Yesung Choo and Ui Su Jeong, who defeated Malika Amirgalieva and Yu-Chen Lin in a nail-biting three-set match.

ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J300 Wanju

The ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J300 Closed Championship is nearing its climax in Wanju, Korea. The quarterfinals, concluded today, with fierce and thrilling contests. The event saw some top-seeded players face tough losses, setting the stage for an exciting semi-finals and finals.

In the boys’ quarterfinals, top-seeded Hoypoung Roh held off Fumin Jiang (11) in a tightly contested match, taking it 6-4 7-6(7). However, third-seeded Jangjung Kim was not as fortunate, losing to Rethin Pranav (6) in straight sets, 6-4 6-1. Zangar Nurlanuly (5) had a more convincing win, outplaying Yeosue Jeong (4) 6-4 6-3. Meanwhile, unseeded Hiromasa Koyama pulled off an upset over eighth-seeded Moobeen Kim, winning 6-3 5-7 6-1 in a thrilling three-set match.



In the girls’ quarterfinals, the biggest upset came in the form of top-seeded Reina Goto losing to ninth-seeded Suha Lee in a gripping match, 6-3 3-6 7-6(7). Yushan Shao (14) also had a come-from-behind win, edging past Shihi Tsujioka (5) 3-6 6-1 6-1. Yihan Qu (12) defeated Yuhan Wang (3) in straight sets, 6-1 6-4, while Kanon Sawashiro (2) outplayed Mutsumi Uemura 6-4 6-0.

Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault Tokyo Concludes 🎾🏆

The Roland Garros Junior Series by Renault concluded yesterday with outstanding performances by talented young players. In the girls’ category, Japan’s Lisa Kamigata aced her way to victory, defeating her compatriot Kurea Hayasaka in an epic final match 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.

In the boys’ category, the Japanese player Hyu Kawanishi also powered his way to the top, taking down top-seeded Ryo Tabata (Jpn) in a nail-biting final match 4-6, 6-1, 7-6(7).

Congratulations to our champions, Lisa Kamigata and Hyu Kawanishi. They’ve earned their spots at the prestigious 2025 Roland Garros Juniors in Paris.

GSPDP ITF/ATF Team to Asia is on an exciting tour of three back-to-back ITF WTT Juniors tournaments in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The first stop, ITF J100 Fergana, wrapped up with thrilling matches. Arnav Paparkar and Sehaj Singh claimed the boys’ doubles title after a tough battle, overcoming Ivan Gretskiy & Artem Sidorov in a gripping 3-set match (3-6, 6-1, 10-8) . Meanwhile, Siu Chi Nicholas Cheng made it to the boys’ singles final but fell short against top seed Ivan Gretskiy, finishing as runner-up (3-6, 3-6).

The team is now gearing up for the ITF J200 Fergana, which kicks off on 30 September.

The ATF 12&U Team Competition Finals, supported by KTF, wrapped up yesterday with thrilling matches as Indonesia and Korea were crowned champions in the boys’ and girls’ categories respectively.

In the boys’ semifinals, Indonesia powered past India with a commanding 3-0 victory, while Korea edged out Chinese Taipei in a nail-biting 2-1 contest. The final saw Indonesia continue their dominance, defeating Korea 3-0 to clinch the championship. In the third-place playoff, Chinese Taipei outplayed India 3-0 to secure the third position.

The girls’ semifinals were equally fierce, as Chinese Taipei cruised to a 3-0 win over Kazakhstan, while Korea delivered a clinical 3-0 victory against China. In the final, Korea triumphed over Chinese Taipei 3-0, securing the championship title. Kazakhstan battled hard to finish third after a 2-1 win over China.

With these results, Indonesia, Korea, and Chinese Taipei (boys), as well as Korea, Chinese Taipei, and Kazakhstan (girls), have booked their spots for the ATF 12&U Intercontinental Team Competition in Hong Kong from October 7-11.

ATF 12&U Team Competition Finals- Supported by KTF: Quarterfinals Concluded.

The ATF 12&U Team Competition Finals- Supported by KTF is heating up as the event reaches its knockout stage. After three days of intense round-robin action, the top two teams from each group qualified for the quarterfinals.

In the boys’ category, India edged out China in a closely contested tie 2-1, while Indonesia dominated Pakistan with a 3-0 win. Korea and Chinese Taipei also secured their spots in the semi-finals with commanding victories over Thailand (3-0) and Kazakhstan (2-1), respectively.

In the girls’ category, host Kazakhstan stormed past Thailand with a 3-0 score line, while Chinese Taipei outplayed Indonesia 3-0. China defeated India 3-0, and Korea overpowered the Philippines 3-0 to join the semi-final line-up.

The semi-final matchups promise to be even more intense as the teams battle it out for a place in the final. Apart from the coveted championship title, the teams are also vying for a spot at the upcoming ATTF 12&U Intercontinental Team Competition, scheduled to take place in October. The stakes are high, and the competition is expected to be fierce and thrilling in the days to come.
