An Iconic Visit To Remember

Students of The South Point visited ,Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India on 3 March 2023.After the initial formalities pertaining to the entry into the main building, an official from the Rashtrapati Bhavan introduced the students to the building. This included a brief description about the area, the number of rooms, the main statue of the "Sahastrabahu Alokiteshvara"- the Budha with a thousand Arma,the stones used to build and decorate the interiors, the design and architecture of the building and the names of the architects.Students also visited Durbar Hall,Ashoka Hall and rooms designated for various meetings. The museum inside the complex showcasing collection of paintings, memorabilia and gifts received by the Presidents of India during their official visits were worth seeing. Mughal Gardens with its well-manicured lawns,beautiful fountains and fragrant flowers mesmerized everyone..The students felt enlightened and happy at having been provided with an opportunity to visit the Rashtrapati Bhavan .
