Lela Health centre launched and dedicated to God.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
It was a good day yesterday 19 January 2021 as a life long dream came true.
The vision of our fathers and their fathers before them came true. The people of Lela and its environs can now access health services almost at their doorstep as the Lela Community Health Centre was launched and handed over to Kisumu County Government.
The Bishop of the area, Central Deanery of Masogo East, Holy Trinity Church in Africa, Bishop George Okwach led the ceremony as the facility was dedicated to God.
As he says, all that is put to God goes well,God being the first healer, it is good that the community chose to start with God.

We give glory to God for this far and trust Him for more.

This is an appreciation post.
R. Nyando turned it's back on the people of Nyamdo, ran rampage in the homes of the locals in a flood that has never been seen since 1967. Men and women alike had to scamper for safety with their children not able to salvage a thing. Not even a tin of unga to prepare a paltry cup of uji.

But we thank God for the members of the Kokumu community who responded in good time to make sure that those camping in the churches and schools.
KWADA through its leadership would like to extend their gratitude to the members of KWADA both within and without the borders.

May God's grace and peace ever be sufficient in your lives.

Now, the task ahead of us moving swiftly to look for remedies and ways of ensuring that the coming generations don't get to witness floods as this one has seen. These measures include building dams in strategic places, building d***s among other measures.
We believe that we'll achieve these.

Today, the 21st Day of December 2019 KWADA held a medical camp at the just completed Lela Health Centre where a total of 186 patients were attended to.
The Health Centre is a brainchild of KWADA development committee after it was evident that there was a niche in that particular area. This was after a series of medical camps that saw scores of patients come out to receive treatment.
The medical camp was started as a way of giving back to the community and giving the community a early Christmas gift and is done yearly. We therefore welcome you to join us in the coming years to give back to this beautiful community.

Lela Health Centre isn't fully operational as yet awaiting a few public works, equipments and staffing. Thus far it has been the grace of God.
