For each thorn, there's a rosebud...
for each twilight — a dawn...
for each trial — the strength to carry on,
For each stormcloud — a rainbow...
for each shadow — the sun...
for each parting — sweet memories

Newborn,
Everyone calls you brother. Always ready with a smile and a story. A simple 'hi' was never enough, you always stopped for a minute to chat. Determined and focused straight out of school. Responsible, hardworking, always ready to help. So much to say, not enough words.

May God reward your unshakable faith in Him.
Our brother and friend. We honour you.

🚨 History is being made in Djibouti 🌍🥳🥳

A significant milestone was achieved today by the national carrier of Djibouti. For the first time, the flight crew was exclusively composed of Djiboutian professionals.

Before becoming the vision of the CEO, this accomplishment embodies the initial vision of His Excellency Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, whose CEO, Mr. Abdourahman Ali Abdillahi, was tasked with implementing it. After sending 14 young Djiboutians for a two-year training at the Ninety Nine Flying School in Nairobi, they further honed their skills by traveling to South Africa, specifically to Simaero. There, they underwent a specialized program focused on "Type rating ERJ 145."The results of these efforts were proudly unveiled with the Embraer ERJ145 piloted by two Djiboutian pilots: Captain and Chief Pilot Mahad H. Ahmed, accompanied by First Officer Mouhiyadine Said.

This moment is a source of pride for the entire country and comtinent , underscoring the national airline's ongoing commitment to the training of its human resources, thus laying the foundation for sustainable success in the aviation industry.

Well done

Choosing a Flight Training School:

Flight schools with a good reputation have contacts all over the industry ranging from alumni to colleagues and friends and a good flight school will have alumni that are willing to stand behind its name.

Col Ali: "Once again it was a great pleasure flying back to Nbi from Msa this evening with . Our very own Billy Fadhil Bisbas was the FO and the Captain was Capt Vincent Ngeno who happened to have renewed his MEIR with 99s some years before joining . Kudos to Team 99s for the good job!"

13/02/2024

This morning, our Head of Training, Col Ali, had the pleasure of flying from Nairobi to MSA via .
In a wonderful coincidence, Captain Pritesh (99s CFI 2012-2014) was the aircraft Captain, flying with FO Macharia who also took some training in 99s in preparation for his appointment at .

FO Macharia says "I am very grateful to Capt Ayan for the adequate preparation that saw me through the interview process!"

Capt. Pritesh: "Hi to you all and I wish you all the best...kudos 99s and keep up the good job!"

Good to see you guys and thank you for carrying the name with pride!

WORRIED ABOUT EXAM EXPIRY? MISSED OPPORTUNITIES?
The aircraft fleet is key when selecting a flight school.

When choosing a flight school, the number of aeroplanes that make up the fleet is most important, the more aircraft the school has, the more flight slots they can offer. This, coupled with the students availability, is a critical factor in ensuring training is completed quickly and with minimal financial inconvenience.

At Ninety Nines, we have a the largest fleet of aircraft exclusively dedicated to training, with 12 Cessna 172 and 11 full-time flight instructors, students are assured of safe and consistent flying.

We are open for inquiries every day (including weekends), you may also reach us on 0728606479 to find out why we remain the leading flight training school in Eastern Africa.

21/12/2023

There are often so many choices when it comes to picking a school for your training, however have you considered the following in your decision making?

1. The number and types of aircraft in the fleet, and their availability for scheduling your lessons. Ideally you should fly one make and model for your training although a mid-course change is not a critical concern; earlier on it would not be recommended.

Ninety Nines Flying School boasts the largest fleet of training aircraft in Nairobi, and with us you are sure of safe and consistent training leading to faster accomplishment of your goals.

2024 intake is now on, visit us at the Wilson Airport for more information on how to register.
