MEMBERSHIP TYPES and FEES
Types of membership are available:
1. Ordinary Membership:
This type is for individuals or companies engaged in operating spa services or supplying goods or services to the spa industry. This includes the following categories:
1. Resort/Hotel Spa (includes cruises)
2. Day Spa (includes clubs and fitness centers)
3. Destination Spa
4. Medical Spa
5. Affiliate: those who supply professional services, products or equipment to the spa industry
Ordinary Members have one voting right per member, allowing them to take an active role in deciding the activities and direction of the Association. Two classes of Ordinary Membership are available:
-Corporate: with two nominated representatives. Up to five additional representatives are allowed who pay only the annual fee, but not the joining fee.
-Individual: one representative only.

WHO SHOULD JOIN?
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in spas, but will be of particular benefit to:
-Spa owners, operators and managers
-Health and natural therapy professionals
-Spa product and equipment suppliers
-Spa, health and beauty training schools
-Spa consultants, architects and designers
-Hoteliers and those in the hospitality industry
-Travel agents, tour operators and others in the travel industry
-Health and lifestyle media

OUR OBJECTIVES
1.To promote and preserve the general welfare of the spa industry and the safety of its consumers, by establishing standards for staffing, training, spa set-up, spa operation, and product and equipment supply.
2.To be the voice of the spa industry in Cambodia, educating the public about the value and benefits of the spa experience.
3.To support and assist members to overcome obstacles as well as mediate with outsiders for mutual benefit in the engagement of business in the categories contained in the objectives; monitoring and following up on the movements in both the domestic and foreign markets of the products and service in which its members are engaged, for the benefit of trade, finance, economy or security of the country; and to encourage participation of spas of every size and kind, and entities actively engaged in supplying goods or services to the spa industry.
4.To conduct research concerning the engagement of businesses of the categories contained in the objectives, exchanging and disseminating technical knowledge as well as trading information concerning such enterprises.
5.To promote the quality of the products and services of those engaged in the businesses who are its members to meet standards as well as conduct research and improve production and trading methods for better results.
6.To cooperate with the government in the promotion of trade, industry, finance or any other business in the economic field within its objectives.
7.To agree or provide guidelines for members to follow so as to enable the engagement of business in the categories contained in its objectives to operate in an orderly manner.
8.To mediate disputes between members or between members and outsiders in the engagement of business.

The Camboda Massage & Spa Association is a non-profit organization, established to promote and develop the spa industry in Cambodia.
