Firefighters can carry these lightweight pumps specifically designed to combat mountain fires in areas inaccessible to fire-fighting trucks.
Together, we are building a safer, more resilient community equipped to respond swiftly and effectively to the threats of wildfires.

We pray that God keeps our brave firefighters safe as they work to protect our forests and community.

Powering up Bekaa Valley with Solar Energy!

We’re excited to announce Sallaum Humanity Foundation’s latest project to implement solar systems for up to 100 households in Bekaa Valley. Our mission is to bring sustainable energy to those who need it most.

Eligibility criteria:
* Monthly income below the national poverty line.
* Inadequate housing without reliable electricity.
* Priority goes to larger families with more dependents.
* Special cases include households with elderly, disabled, or chronically ill members.
* Home visits and audits will be made by our team for eligibility confirmation.

On March 27-28, Sallaum Humanity Foundation organized its first online training on “Grant Proposal Writing and Project Management Cycle”.

The training delved deep into the essentials of project cycle management and the key elements for writing a winning grant proposal.

Throughout the sessions, participants grasped the fundamentals of needs assessment, improved their monitoring and evaluation skills, navigated budgeting and resource allocation, and understood donor expectations.

Additionally, each participant gained the opportunity to foster collaboration within project teams, engage in practical exercises, receive feedback and guidance, and participate in networking opportunities for knowledge exchange.

في 27 و28 مارس، نظمت مؤسسة سلوم الإنسانية أول تدريب لها عبر الإنترنت حول "دورة إعداد صياغة وإدارة المشاريع التنموية"

في حين تعمق التدريب في أساسيات إدارة دورة المشاريع والعناصر الرئيسية لكتابة اقتراح منح ناجح.

وطوال الجلسات، أدرك المشاركون أساسيات تقييم الاحتياجات، من خلال تحسين مهاراتهم في الرصد والتقييم، وتعلّم وضع ميزانية وتخصيص الموارد، والتعرف على توقعات المانحين.

وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، اكتسب كل مشارك فرصة لتعزيز التعاون داخل الفرق، والمشاركة في التمارين العملية، وتلقي التعليقات البناءة والتوجيهات، والمشاركة في فرص الربط الشبكي لتبادل المعارف.

Five teams engaged in a competition to devise solutions for addressing social issues. The competition offered three prizes, with values of $1,000, $500, and $300, respectively.

Our third and final Grant Proposal Writing and Management Workshop in Bekaa on August 5th and 6th was an extraordinary success!

The workshop welcomed individuals from local Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), medical centers, NGOs, schools, and others from the public sector.

This transformative experience equipped participants with indispensable skills to master grant proposal writing and apply for future calls for proposals.

Congratulations to our accomplished participants who've earned well-deserved certificates.

We are delighted to announce the success of the second round of our Grant Proposal Writing and Management Workshop, which took place on July 5th and 6th in Bekaa. The workshop specifically catered to individuals from local Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), medical centers, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and members of the public sector.

Through a combination of practical training and dynamic interactive sessions, participants were equipped with the know-how necessary to excel in grant proposal writing. This hands-on approach ensured that attendees gained valuable knowledge and skills to succeed in this crucial field.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants who successfully completed the workshop. Each participant received a well-earned certificate to recognize their accomplishments.
