Mrs. Carmen Christina Renè M.B.E (Principal from 1974 - 1987)
The Official Opening of the Sans Souci Government School took place on 1st October 1975. Upon Mrs. Renè’s death on 6th October 1987, the school was renamed on 17th April 1988 to the Carmen Renè Memorial School. It was dedicated to honour her memory as the First Principal of the School and for her Outstanding Service to the Children of St. Lucia. We dedicated this Page in memory of her strong ideals and high standards. May her legacy live on in the hearts and lives of our students.
