Today, on 31 October 2024, the UACS School of Political Science had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Augusta Philbin, Deputy Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy North Macedonia, for a guest lecture on the topic: "2024 U.S. Presidential Elections". 🇺🇸✨

Following her insightful talk, the present UACS students participated in a voting simulation, experiencing firsthand the process of electing a U.S. president.

We are delighted to share the exciting news that the Accreditation Board for the international professional qualification ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) has reaffirmed its accreditation of the UACS Bachelor program in Audit and Accounting (https://shorturl.at/e7sDN).

Specifically, the courses Accountant in Business, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Law, Performance Management, Taxation, Financial Reporting and Financial Statement Analysis, Audit 1, and Corporate Finance have been recognized for their relevance to the ACCA qualification eligibility.

It is particularly significant to highlight that, with this decision, we have attained accreditation for the maximum number of courses—nine out of the total thirteen in the ACCA program—which distinguishes us from other academic institutions in the region and beyond.

At the start of the fall 2024 semester, undergraduate students in the Financial Accounting course, under the guidance of Professor Dusica S Srbinoska and Teodora Kochovska, were introduced to Oracle NetSuite ERP. During their two-week stay at Marand Consultants' headquarters in Skopje, the students worked in teams to explore the accounting cycle for service and merchandising entities.

📑✍🏽Yesterday, the UACS School of Foreign Languages, in collaboration with .lamina , held its first ever Literary Award Ceremony🏆 at .mk , ,recognizing outstanding unpublished literary works. ✏️

The event featured 23 manuscripts across poetry, prose, and drama in Macedonian, Albanian, and English, with first place going to Jovana Matevska-Atanasova for her short story “Berta’s Journey”, winner of the main prize - a Scholarship for the new Master’s Program in Creative Writing. ✍🏽📝

Special thanks to for their support and decision to offer а sholarship for the winner of this competition, recognizing the future of creativy!

On October 24th, 2024, the UACS had the privilege of hosting a thought-provoking panel on the topic “Security Interchange and Interoperations Between NATO and the European Union”, organized on the occasion of the Hungarian presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The event opened with an introductory speech by Andreas Klein, Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of North Macedonia, followed by engaging insights from the panelists Péter Sztáray, and Dragan Tilev, with UACS Prof. Marina Andeva skillfully moderating the discussion.

A riveting event that shined a light on key security challenges and opportunities for collaboration between NATO and the EU, we extend our gratitude to the Embassy of Hungary in Skopje/Magyarország Szkopjei Nagykövetsége for their collaboration, to our panelists, and to all participants for making this event a success!

The University American College Skopje was honored to host Nika Inauri, recipient of a Master’s Studies Scholarship in International Relations and Diplomacy at UACS, during his 5-day visit to Skopje. During his visit, Nika met with our rector, Prof. Dr. Marjan I. Bojadjiev, our Honorary Consul of Georgia in the Republic of Macedonia Prof. Dr. Marko Andonov, and the UACS Professors deepening our shared commitment to education and international collaboration.

As Head of Tbilisi Service Unite at the Ministry of IDP, Labor, Health and Social Affairs in Georgia, and with a passion for public service and global diplomacy, Nika brought his unique skills to our UACS Graduation Ceremony as a distinguished guest speaker, where he inspired our 2024 graduates.
