Abuja Impact Ministries - AIM

We concluded our Ibadan Who Will Go Conference this afternoon. With 19 churches represented from Abeokuta, Akure, Ibadan,Ogbomosho, Ilorin, and Ago-Iwoye. We had 145 present for the morning session and preaching in the afternoon. The faces of those young Nigerians are the hope of the future church planters, pastors and missionaries that will not only go across our country but also beyond Nigeria and into the world as flaming evangelists. In addition, we recorded more than 50 that surrendered their lives to serve God and 5 called to preach and 5 that trusted Christ these last 3 days.Thank you for praying for the 3-day conference and churches for sending your young people to this life changing meeting.
Who will go Nigeria? 🇳🇬

Our Providence Baptist College and Seminary students conducted a Gospel film show tonight, showing the movie Redeeming Hope to about 50 people near the college area and Truth Baptist Church with about 20 people raising their hands to trust Christ.

When the Pathfinder started printing our bi-monthly Magazine, there became the need to have something that is targeted towards women that will be available for reading. We started printing the Pathfinder Christian Womahood Magazine and circulated them across our Independent Baptist churches. As of now, we have printed 11 editions of the Womanhood Magazine. Praise the Lord!

Last year, we held our first ever Pathfinder Womanhood Conferences in Ibadan and Abuja with about 150 ladies attending. There were teachings from the speakers, activities and fellowship of Christian women during the conferences. It was such a memorable events and uplifting one for those that attended.

We are glad to announce our upcoming 2024 Pathfinder Christian Womanhood Conference which will be held in Calabar. February 22 and 23 are the dates and will be hosted by Livingspring Baptist Church of Calabar. We have a line up of wonderful women speakers who will be a blessing to you.

Pray, ladies, and plan to attend.

The vision for a youth conference that is centered around missions was birthed last year and was held this year in 3 different states and churches in Nigeria. Over 360 young people attended, with most of them surrendering their lives to serve God in any way the Lord sees fit. Some followed through and are now getting trained for the ministry. We cannot have enough young people serving God because the needs are great, but the call to serve will continue. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

We are so glad to annouce the upcoming Who Will Go Conferences for 2024 and their venues. Ibadan, Port Harcourt and Jos will be the venues for you and your church to plan to be at.

Happy Akande

Happy concluded his studies in seminary in 2020 and achieved his certificate in 2022. He now serves at Independent Baptist Church, Ijokodo, Ibadan, Oyo state. He is the Youth Pastor, a Sunday school teacher, and song leader. Happy is active in Bible teaching, writing, and preaching to the single adults and teenagers.

Some goals for himself that he has are:
1. Explaining the Gospel clearly in a way that many would understand and that he would take advantage of every opportunity to explain the good news of Jesus Christ.
2. Using the gifts that God has given him to be a blessing and encouragement to others.
3. To be a Christ-like example daily

Some goals that he has for his ministry are:
1. To equip youth and teenagers to understand God's Word without denominational bias through his writings and preaching
2. In the future, he would like to build a Bible Institution that stands on the Word of God and not on traditions or culture.

Kolade Oluwaseyi Richard

Richard is a second year in seminary. His home church is Fellowship Baptist Church, Akure, Ondo state.
The classes he thinks are the most interesting is Religions and Baptist Distinctive.
The ministries he is currently involved in are: Soulwinning, Bible club, and assisting his pastor at his home church.
His desires after he graduates seminary are: to be a Sunday school teacher, discipling new converts, assisting his Pastor, or becoming a Pastor in a church that is without a Pastor.

Here are some ways we can be praying for him:
1. To be devout and effective in ministry
2. Growth in his spiritual life
3. That he would have wisdom and discernment

Samson Adams

Samson graduated from the seminary in January 2018. He currently serves at Spring Valley Baptist Church, Tungan Maje. The church is working on having their own auditorium. He is the Missionary Pastor and serves in school ministry and Bible clubs.
Samson has a desire to start more churches in Adamawa state, Gombe, and Bauchi. He has a heart for missions work, especially in remote areas.

Here are some ways we can pray for him and his ministry:
- God's wisdom in decision making and strength to lead
- Provisions for his work and family
- Growth in the church and revival
- Provisions to commence the church building

Prayers needed as we conduct our second Student Missions Institute for Training in Evangelism in Kenya next month at the Heritage Baptist Church of Langa'ta, Nairobi Kenya.
