When you're going through some difficult and challenging stage, try to find out what great destiny awaits you in the extraordinary opportunity.

Because hard times are sometimes preparation time(for mining, forging and hammering, carving/chiseling, and purifying.

When you're mined, your crude self is excavated. In that state, you will not be appealing to any eyes that behold you. Your beauty is still concealed in the dirt of the earth crust...so you need undergo some process to cleanse you and reveal you for your true value.

Forging and hammering are painful processes where you need to be passed through furnace and beaten into shape. You need to endure the pains because you must for you to come out refined. You must get burned to melt out the dirt that has sunk deep into you making your true worth hidden.

Sometimes, we carry about baggages met to be dropped, and thence slow ourselves down, delay, obstruct or hinder our progress...we become our own inhibitor to growth.
In other to move, we need to carve and chisel out those excess weight holding us up so we can move in the pace and speed we need to get to out zenith.

These processes; mining, burning, forging, hammering, carving and chiseling are too painful that an ordinary man cannot withstand.

But when you withstand all the painful process, you will be purified to emerge into the extraordinary you you went through the processes for.

When you go through the hard times, don't forget to be patient and trust the process. You will come out better.

These days, we see on social media more of divorce pictures from couples who don't really know what marriage and true love is all about. These are people who work with their feelings; these are people who don't understand that love is beyond feelings; love is a journey between two imperfect people who are in agreement to be real to each other as they journey together in life despite their misunderstandings, challenges, differences, conflicts and setbacks.

I bless God that you and your exceptional wife are in this journey together, breaking every boundaries and every ground in this hard time couples find it difficult to stay.

*THE LIFE OF A PASTOR*

2 Corinthians 6:3-10 _We don’t give anyone any reason to be offended about anything so that our ministry won’t be criticized. Instead, we commend ourselves as ministers of God in every way. We did this with our great endurance through problems, disasters, and stressful situations. We went through beatings, imprisonments, and riots. We experienced hard work, sleepless nights, and hunger. We displayed purity, knowledge, patience, and generosity. We served with the Holy Spirit, genuine love, telling the truth, and God’s power. We carried the weapons of righteousness in our right hand and our left hand. We were treated with honor and dishonor and with verbal abuse and good evaluation. We were seen as both fake and real, as unknown and well known, as dying—and look, we are alive! We were seen as punished but not killed, as going through pain but always happy, as poor but making many rich, and as having nothing but owning everything._

So many pastors are concerned with the lives of their members and people around them but forget to pray for themselves.

A pastor lays hands on members for the fruit of the womb and God hears. But he himself has no child in so many years of marriage.

A pastor prays for members to prosper and God hears. He himself get home, there is no food in the kitchen and his wife is angry, calling him all sorts of names.

So many pastors would wake in the morning and won't feel like going to Church because they are weary, crestfallen and questioning themselves, did God really call me into the ministry? Just like John the Baptist, a cousin of Jesus, the man who said 'Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world'. When problem came, he began asking Jesus, is he the Messiah? So many pastors are wearied and sad because of the pains on the job.

A pastor was going to a crusade somewhere and two of his grown up children were to join him there. On their way,

YOU WILL FEED NATIONS

Matthew 14:15 When it was evening, his followers came to him and said, “No one lives in this place, and it is already late. Send the people away so they can go to the towns and buy food for themselves.”
Matthew 14:16 But Jesus answered, “They don’t need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
Matthew 14:17 They said to him, “But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish.”
Matthew 14:18 Jesus said, “Bring the bread and the fish to me.”
Matthew 14:19 Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish and, looking to heaven, he thanked God for the food. Jesus divided the bread and gave it to his followers, who gave it to the people.
Matthew 14:20 All the people ate and were satisfied. Then the followers filled twelve baskets with the leftover pieces of food.
Matthew 14:21 There were about five thousand men there who ate, not counting women and children.

The call of a husband is not automatically transferred to his wife because they are married. If the man is a prophet, it doesn't automatically make his wife a prophetess, pastor, or an evangelist, except she's personally called into an office in the body of Christ. Stop putting pressure on your pastor's wives!!! If she's a lawyer, allow her to be a lawyer in peace while she supports the ministry of her husband in one way or another and fulfilling her part in the great commission!

Most of us find it easy to praise God when everything is going well. You got the promotion at work. The kids are doing great. You have your health. But what about when you’re facing one challenge after another? What about when the kids are off course, things are not good at work, and someone just offended you? That’s exactly when to put into practice the words of Hebrews 13:15: “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His name.” A “sacrifice of praise” is something you don’t necessarily feel like doing, but it’s always the right thing to do.

When you talk defeat, you’re headed toward defeat. When you talk failure, lack, mediocrity, you’re headed that way. You’re setting the direction with your words. Are you in agreement with God? He’s said you’re blessed. Are you saying something else? He’s said you’re fearfully and wonderfully made, a masterpiece, crowned with favour. Are you calling yourself inferior, weak, not attractive? Start declaring what He promised.

*TRUE PATIENCE*

Romans 8:25 _But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure._

What is patience?
Some say, “it is the ability to wait.” That's wrong because anybody can wait but only few can keep good attitude while waiting. So, patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting.

Some wives sing and praise their husbands when everything is rosy in their marriages, but complain bitterly and act rudely toward their husbands when things go bad. Such wives lack the ability to keep a good attitude (as they wait). That's how some Christians act towards God.

We all go through waiting processes that can be very difficult. Can I tell you that God is not making us wait to make it hard on us. But He is causing us to develop our character. Patience is an inner strength that we all need to learn. Patience is what brings forth God’s promises. The writer of Hebrews says, “For you have need of patient endurance, so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised.” We need to develop our patience, knowing that at the right time, God is going to get us to where we need to be as well as give us what we need.
