20 REASONS WHY YOU MAY HAVE A CRACKED VOICE:

1: You always shout especially, when angry.Be careful the way you shout when you're angry. Mums,be calming down with your children. LOL

2: You church sound system is poor or bad. Chai! Nothing cracks voice like singing in a bad microphone. It can tighten your throat and squeeze strength out of you.

3: Inhaling dust. Dust makes you cough profusely.Cough strains your voice. Once your voice is weak,it will crack.

4:You drink coffee and caffeinated tea often.They dry out your vocal folds and constrict the muscle. When the muscles of your throat is tight,it puts unnecessary damaging stress on your vocal. That is simply voice crack.

5:You eat a lot of fried food.You can't just eat your food in peace without fried eggs,plantain, potato and stew.

6:You don't know your voice range. You think shouting means projection.You scream on a very high key when leading praise and worship

7: You're too comfortable with a very low key. So any day choir leader increases the key of a song or introduces songs sung with high keys,your voice goes bad.Don't be too comfortable with a very low key. Try to break through your usual low voice range.

8:You don't like to drink enough water.You can only drink water after heavy food.

9: You like cold water and cold drinks. Infact,you brag about it, "Cold mineral are my favorites". What happens to stuff in a freezer is what happens to your throats each time you take very cold stuff.

10: Chocolates are your best.Chocolates naturally contain caffeine which dries you out.

11:You like processed drinks which contain a lot of sugar. Overly processed foods make you urinate often. When you urinate frequently, you get dehydrated

12: Alcohol is a threat to your voice.lt dries your throat. Even if you think it is not a sin,it still has adverse effects on your body(throat).

13: You don't warm up your voice at all or frequently. You don't also know the right vocal exercises to apply.

14:You probably have accumulated malaria and typhoid. A health personnel says accumulated malaria can make you lose your voice.

14: Your whole body is stressed up.You exert more energy on your voice trying to sing out during services. This is why it is needful you relax your body before and after ministration.Emotional and physical stresses weaken your voice

15: You don't always sing.You skip singing.Each time you want to sing,it's like a new experience altogether.

16:You talk too much, maybe as a teacher or a multinational speaker.l am writing out of experience.l am a motivational speaker cm teacher. My job entails talking. In fact,l talk from morning till evening everyday.l have crowd l control ( choir, and other classes). I lose my voice always ,Although l have learnt how to manage it.

17: You like coconut a lot. Among all foods that crack voice coconut is the best in that.t.Avoid it,especially eating it raw or directly.

18:When you don't have good back up singers.You lead and at the same time back yourself up.You lead,sing soprano ,alto and tenor at the same time. This is painful.

19:You don't like eating fruits.You rather like junk and processed foods. Make banana,orange,water melon and the rest your best friends.They will do you good.

20: You don't pray for your body. Pray about everything. Always place your hands on our throat and pray. Don't neglect this spiritual exercise.It works..

Dear Sister Mary,

It is about Brother Joesph, your fiancé.
Mary, if you truly love Joseph and you are convinced about his proposal,
I beg you in the name of God,
don't let him sleep with you no matter what happens!
Wait until you get married.
Apart from the fact that it is a honourable thing to do, it is also the will of God.
However, if Joseph keeps mounting pressure
on you not minding the sexual purity vow you made to God, then it's about time you leave the relationship.
Any man that leads you on to break the word of God just because of lack of self control over his libido will not only break your heart one day, he will break your destiny as well!

The day you allow Joseph access to your body
may be the day you kill the "Jesus" your womb is destined to carry!
You may still go on "well" as though nothing happened but you may have lost purpose forever without even knowing it!
Mary, you are a career of destiny!
and the SEED that will come out of you will reach the ends of the earth in influence and glory.
But all these can be lost on the altar of sin in few careless minutes.
Today, we can only ask:
What if Reuben did not sleep with his father's concubine?
What if Samson did not mess up with Delilah?
What if Dinah did not open her laps to Shechem?
And the big one....
What if Adam did not eat the forbidden fruit?
Unfortunately, they all did and the consequences of their actions are written for us to learn.
Horrible, Terrible and gory consequences!
That reverberated for several decades!
