Yah! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
It is a countdown to Children's Day! 🤩
We look forward to featuring children (preferably aged 8 to 16, but less than 18 years) who are doing fantastic things, like publishing books, participating in sports, exploring the arts, and technology, and so forth, on the Child Safety Radio show on *Saturday the 20th of May* across our featured stations in Lagos to share their stories and inspire other kids out there.
Do you know any children or would love to have your children on the show to talk about the exceptional things they are doing to make a difference?
Feel free to reach out to me.
Thank you. ❤️

CARELESS MOTHERS/PARENTS
IF YOU KNOW YOU CANT TRAIN AND WATCH A FEMALE CHILD GROW UNDER YOUR ROOF TILL 2O YEARS AND ABOVE, WHY THEN DO YOU GIVE BIRTH TO THEM?
A week ago a 13 year old girl was found pregnant but she didn't know who impregnated her. But I will tell you the truth, she was r***d by someone nearby and threatened not to report.
When Doctors conducted tests on her they found she was not a virgin meaning someone had been s*xually abusing her.
Just yesterday another story of 13 year old who was staying with her uncle was found r***d and killed.
Listen, If a man can remove the diaper of a 6 days old baby clamp the little baby's feet and r**e her what would stop such a man from ra**ng a 13 year old little girl??
The quicker we realize that we are living in a rotten society the better for our girls.
Even at school and sometimes mosques and churches, the girls are r***d by male teachers, students, religious leaders as well.
Even at home the girls are r***d by brothers, uncles, fathers, grandfathers, nephews and male workers.
Worse of it is even at the police station where the girls are r***d right there by male police officers.
My job is to alert you and tell you things as I see them and witness on the ground.
The truth is the girl child is not safe anywhere so what should we do as parents to help our little girls.
Teach our girls to dress decently. Naked dresses should be avoided by mothers, sisters aunties, maids, mentors and our daughters.
Teach our girls to fear the night because that's when most predators lurk around and wait for the victims.
Teach our girls what is inappropriate behavior so that they know when someone is touching them wrongly.
Seriously teach our girls some defence mechanisms that have helped several girls.
S*x education is very important for our girls. Let a girl child or even boy child know that PRIVATE PARTS are not to be touched or played with, let them understand that nobody is to see their private parts unless their husbands or wives.
Teach your little girls not to be trusting around men of any n
The election has been won and lost for NOW !!!!
My pain is the fact that majority of us are on social media, radio and television teaching and discussing MORALITY to our children and youths in our different communities and cities.
Don't get me wrong please, what moral lesson did this election teach our youths across the country? (Internet does not forget)
With all the videos on the Internet of Police, INEC officials , youths coppers and thugs destroying opposition votes and in some other state the ruling party votes.
Where do we move from here, we live in a country where there is no consequences for wrongful actions.
A country where Money comes first before MORALITY
Wouldn't it have been sweeter if the WINNER of this election won gallantly?
I'm so pained that INEC has taken this nation back by years over his conduct of this election?
Yes, I'm a beneficiary of this election because I'm a Nigerian and close to people around the winner but this is not the best for all of us that want the best for our children and the youths.
Like I said in my earlier post, it's God that gives Leaders and you must be spiritual to understand this.
I hope things will be better in Nigeria in our life time.
Congratulations to Asiwaju and all the campaign team (Media)

⁉️ What is child protection in education?
⁉️ Why is it important for schools and child learning centers to incorporate child protection into their policies, processes, and curriculum?
These and many more concerns will be discussed on the Child Safety radio show tomorrow across the stations in Lagos. More details on the flyer.

*Since this issue is tropical and trending can we discuss this issue this Saturday*
Dear Honourable Minister for Education, I trust all is well with you sir. I hope you do not mind my writing this public letter to you. I thought that
since this is a matter of national importance, and the position you have taken is public knowledge, I should table my concerns publicly as well. I took permission from my husband (who used to be your colleague on the Federal Executive Council) before writing this, and he will assure you when you talk that I mean no disrespect sir.
Hon Minister sir, on Thursday November 2 nd 2022 you gave a directive to the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) to remove S*x Education from the Basic Education Curriculum. This statement was made when you declared open the 66th National Council on Education in Abuja which had the theme, ‘Strengthening of Security and Safety in Nigerian Schools for the Achievement of Education 2030 Agenda’. According to you sir, immediately you saw S*x Education in the curriculum, you called the NERDC Executive Secretary and asked him to expunge it, arguing that s*x education should be left in the hands of parents and religious institutions and not be taught in schools in a manner that would further corrupt little children’. The NERDC Executive Secretary then promised to
‘act on it’. Hon Minister sir, I beg you in the name of all that is good, please rethink your position.
A few years ago, I had cause to write a similar public letter in response to a gentleman who had been harassing me and a few of my women’s rights activist friends over our views on the importance of s*x education. He decided to write an article mentioning my name and that of my friends as promoters of ‘foreign values’ so I was left with no choice but to respond publicly in an article I called ‘Let’s Talk about S*x’. Shortly after, mutual associates brokered a truce and we have stayed out of each other’s way since. Some of the arguments I will be making in this letter are the same as what I wrote back then, but I have also come across new information sir.
I was First Lady of Ekiti State for eight years (2010-2014 and 2018-2
Why s education shouldn’t be taught in schools — Education Minister
Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu has said that s education should not be taught in schools because it’s targeted at undermining and destr@ying the moral and religious fiber of our society
In his keynote address at the 66th NCE meeting, on Nov 3rd, the minister said that all available evidences indicated that s education in schools does more h@rm than good to the students
Adding that he has directed the Nigeria Educational Research and Development Council to quickly review the curriculum and expunge any s education content in curriculum being used in schools in Nigeria
According to him, “In a recent trip to the New York, a government official called my attention to certain materials on s education being used in schools & I almost coll@psed. I am one of those persons who believe that s education should not be taught in our schools
Rather such knowledge and experience should shared through other means that are known to man.
WHAT A COUNTRY.....IT'S WELL.
To every girl child out there!!!!
