Heyhey,

Laat ik mij eerst eventjes voorstellen. Mijn naam is Laurie Anedda, ik ben 19 jaar oud en eerstejaars studente.
De meeste zullen mij daarom alleen kennen van de online collegezalen.

Komend jaar zal een ander jaar worden voor studenten, maar zeker in positieve zin! Na lang achter de computer suffen, mogen we eindelijk weer naar de universiteit. Ik heb mij kandidaat gesteld, omdat ik er graag voor wil zorgen dat de heropening van de universiteit zo prettig als mogelijk wordt ervaren.

Door mijn bijbaan als onderwijsondersteuning weet ik dat communicatie hiervoor heel belangrijk is. Dit zou ik graag willen meenemen in de OLC. Ik hoop jou stem te mogen vertegenwoordigen!

Hey there!

Let me introduce myself first. My name is Laurie Anedda, I am 19 years old and a first year student. Most of them will therefore only know me from the online lectures.

Next year will be a different year for students, but certainly in a positive sense! After a long time of dozing at the computer, we are finally allowed to go back to university. I applied because I would like to ensure that the reopening of the university is experienced as pleasantly as possible.

Because of my side job as educational support, I know that communication is very important for this. I would like to include this experience in the Education Committee. I hope to be able to represent your voice!

Hey GPM’ers,
Ik ben Marcus Schmeits, 20 jaar en ben nu derdejaars student. Oorspronkelijk kom ik uit Sittard in Limburg maar ben al sinds het begin van mijn studie voornamelijk te vinden in ons Nijmegen. Misschien kennen jullie mij van Mundus óf van voorlichtingspresentaties en -filmpjes over GPM. Ik vind het belangrijk dat de lijntjes tussen docenten en studenten kort en toegankelijk zijn. Studenten moeten makkelijk en snel iets kunnen doorgeven mochten ze ergens verbeteringen mogelijk zien. Ik geloof dat veel mensen op de studie mij kennen én ik ook redelijk veel GPM’ers ken waardoor ik echt goed jouw stem kan vertegenwoordigen. Waar komend jaar vooral een uitdaging zal liggen naar mijn mening is de (verdere) herstart van het fysiek onderwijs. Dit zal voor iedereen wennen zijn en hierin zal dus waarschijnlijk ruimte voor verbetering ontstaan, waar ik me graag voor inzet. Ik hoop dat ik me volgend jaar voor jullie mag inzetten en ik hoop dat ik op jouw stem kan rekenen!

Hey GPE-students,
My name is Marcus Schmeits, 20 years old and in my third bachelor year. I’m originally from Sittard in the province of Limburg, but since the start of my study I can be found in Nijmegen. Maybe you already know me from Study Association Mundus or one of many (online) presentations and clips about GPE. I find it important that the communication lines between students and teachers are short and accessible. Students should be able to indicate improvements quick and easy if they find them necessary. I think that many students know me and that I know a lot of students and that’s why I can represent your voice well. Next year the restart of physical classes will probably become a challenge, where there will be room for improvement. I hope I can count on your vote and that I may commit myself among other things to this challenge for you.

Beste studiegenoten,

Ik ben Lizzy de Kleijn en ben tweedejaars student van de Bachelor GPM. Ik wil me graag in gaan zetten voor de kwaliteit van onderwijs voor zowel onze Bachelor als voor de Masters en ik hoop volgend jaar daarom jullie stem te mogen vertegenwoordigen.

Ik ben 19 jaar en woon momenteel in Demen, dit ligt vlak bij het stadje Ravenstein. Tijdens het VWO heb ik me ingezet voor de leerlingenraad. Ik zou graag in de OLC willen omdat ik mee wil werken aan de kwaliteit van ons onderwijs. Volgend jaar zal een extra uitdaging zijn omdat we dan hopelijk weer terug gaan schakelen naar fysiek onderwijs. Dit is dan ook een van de punten waar ik me sterk voor wil gaan maken. Afgelopen studiejaar heb ik gemerkt dat we minder gastcolleges hebben gehad en minder in aanraking zijn geweest met ons werkveld. Ik wil dan ook graag met de OLC zoeken naar kansen en mogelijkheden om dit te versterken.

Ik ben makkelijk te benaderen, sta open voor ideeën en behoeften van anderen en wil graag op komen voor jullie belangen. Stem dus op mij zodat ik jullie een stem kan geven in de Opleidingscommissie.

My name is Lizzy de Kleijn and I am a second year student of the Bachelor GPE. I would like to commit myself to the quality of education for both our Bachelor and the Masters and I hope to be able to represent you all next year.

I am 19 years old and currently live in Demen, which is close to the town of Ravenstein. During high school I was a representative for the student council. I would like to join the Education Committee because I want to contribute to the quality of our education. Next year will be an extra challenge because we will hopefully switch back to physical education. This is one of the points that I want to make a case for. Last academic year I noticed that we had fewer guest lectures and had less contact with our workfield. I would therefore like to look with the Education Committe at opportunities and possibilities to strengthen this.

I am easy to approach, open to ideas and would like to stand up for your ideas and interest. So vote for me so that I can give you a vote in the Education Committee.

De derde kandidaat die we voorstellen is Chris-Jan Hoekman!

Hoi mede-GPM-studenten!

Ik ben Chris-Jan Hoekman, 20 jaar oud en zit in het 2e jaar van de opleiding. Ik kom uit Zutphen en woon al een tijdje aan de andere kant van het Maas-Waal Kanaal. Er wordt nog gewerkt aan een kamer in het centrum van ons studentenwereldje…
Jullie kennen mij wellicht nog van uit de (online)collegezalen, of commissiewerk en activiteiten bij Mundus. En anders bij deze aangenaam kennis te maken!

Naast (hopelijk) OLC-lid, maak ik aankomend jaar ook deel uit van het bestuur van Studievereniging Mundus. Dit helpt mij om met veel studenten in contact te staan en signalen op te vangen over de kwaliteit van ons onderwijs. Maar ook om studenten zich meer bewust te maken dat de OLC bestaat. Ik hoop aankomend jaar veel van jullie te spreken. Dat is toch net wat leuker dan zo’n enquête!
Ik hoop dat ik jullie allen binnenkort mag vertegenwoordigen!

I am Chris-Jan Hoekman, I’m 20 years old and am currently in my 2nd year of the GPE bachelor. I’m from Zutphen and have a room in Nijmegen Dukenburg. I’m still looking for a room in the centre of Nijmegen…

You might know me from the (online)lectures, commissions or activities with Mundus. An if you don’t: nice to meet you!
Besides (hopefully) member of the Education Committee, I am a part of the board of study association Mundus. This will help me to be in touch with students and hear their remarks about the quality of our study programme. In this way I hope to improve the quality of the education and to make sure that students know that the Education Committee exists in the first place. I’d like to speak to many of you during the next year as well as gathering your opinions on GPE and processing this feedback with the Education Committee. This is far more enjoyable than a survey don’t you think?

Hoi iedereen!
Ik ben Marloes, 22 jaar en ik ben komend jaar 4e jaars en master student GPM. Ondertussen woon ik alweer 3 jaar in het gezellige Nijmegen en doe ik met heel veel plezier onze studie! Ik vind het belangrijk dat iedereen onze studie met plezier doet en zijn of haar mening kan laten horen. Afgelopen jaar heb ik met veel plezier in de OLC gezeten en hebben we het bijvoorbeeld gehad over online lesgeven. Ik kijk ernaar uit om dit jaar weer input te kunnen geven in de OLC, maar dan vanuit de Master Spatial Planning! Ik hoop dit jaar jullie aanspreekpunt te kunnen zijn en al jullie ideeën en opmerkingen door te kunnen geven aan bijvoorbeeld de docenten.

My name is Marloes, I am 22 years old and will be 4th year student next year. Meanwhile I have already lived in Nijmegen for 3 years and I love to study here!
