GET READY FOR THE BEHAVE CANTUS!!

Hello everyone, it’s time for one of the most awaited events of the year – the BEHAVE cantus! 🍻 Let’s kick off the academic year together with a fun-filled night alongside your fellow TSB students. This exciting event will be held on 30th September at Café de Boekanier! 🗓 Doors open at 20:00, and we’ll start the cantus at 20:30. Tickets are just €19,00 with unlimited beer included! 🍺🔥

Hi everyone! We would like to invite you to the Constitution Drink of the IDEA Board 2024-2025. It will take place on the 10th of September at Café de Boekanier. BECOME A STUDENT MENTOR

Do you want to support first-year students and guide them through their first year? As a student mentor, you play a vital role in the lives of new students. You're there to brainstorm with them, answer their questions, provide the support they need during their first year and share your own experiences with them! Besides you will also get an official certificate for being a student mentor which you can add on your CV.

Practicalities of being a student mentor:
- You can sign up individually or as a duo.
- At the beginning of the year, you will get a mandatory workshop and you will participate with the class by introducing the digital learning environment and giving a campus tour. Additionally, you will be expected to join the first PASS Class to meet the group's PASS mentor.
- We also organize activities that you can participate in with your students.
- Communication is primarily initiated by you, using WhatsApp, and by engaging in activities together. You have the freedom to shape the nature of the contact and the assistance you provide.
- Throughout the year, you will stay in contact with the students from your group, but you will find that the focus is mainly on the first weeks. You should not expect a high workload; it's meant to be enjoyable and educational.
As a token of appreciation for your involvement as a student mentor, you will be rewarded with the participation in the Mentor Appreciation Day at the end of this academic year.

✨TiGeAk Awareness Week✨

In the week of March 13, the Awareness Week will be taking place organized by TiGeAk (.ge.ak). This year in the second edition of the Awareness Week we focus on how you can directly impact your social safety and help those in your surroundings avoid and deal with unwanted behavior in daily situations. During the week you will see us on social media and organizing several activities on campus. Be sure to join them!

During the week, several activities will take place that are in line with the Awareness Week, such as the self-defense class, a workshop on civil rights by the police and an active bystander training.

In addition, we organized an activity about non-verbal communication together with . This is session is all about the correlation between non-verbal communication and a person’s mental state. It gives you more insights to learn about yourself and the people around you!

Join the Master Experience Days on February 8th-9th and gain valuable peer-to-peer insights into the ins and outs of the Master's programs offered by Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences (TSB) from our current Master's students and alumni. During the Master Experience Days, you'll get a chance to take part in the interactive panel sessions, ask all your questions and network with the panelists, as well as hear (professional) experiences and best-practices on labor market orientation from our students and alumni. The Master Experience Days is a collaboration project between Faculty Association IDEA and Student Career Services of Tilburg University.

We are the umbrella association of all TSB associations. We are the link between the (study) associations of TSB, Student Parties and between the faculty Management Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic student who wants to join us during the second half of the academic year 2022-2023!

During a board year at IDEA you get the chance to use your creativity to organize events and you will use your problem solving skills to help students, study associations and the university! A board year is also a lot of fun, with plenty of opportunities to meet wonderful and motivated people just like you. Does this sound interesting to you? The Dutch national team is back in the soccer field and IDEA wants to invite all first-years and their student mentors to watch the first match together! ⚽
But... it is not a Sports & Games events without games for the ones who do not have to sit with their faces in the TV 🤪. There will be several games provided outside to show your competitive side whilst the Dutch team is showing theirs! 🇳🇱

Hey hey people, Stoyan here! I will be the Treasurer and Vice-chairman of Faculty Association IDEA for the 2022-2023 period. I'm 22 years of age and am in my fourth year of the Psychology Bachelor, majoring in Clinical Psychology.
I like to spend my free time (if I had any) doing collaborative storytelling, playing tabletop games and doom-scrolling through social media. I like to believe I have a sense of humour and try to relax by joking around with friends.
I am also involved with the Studentdesk of the Red Cross, hosting symposiums on campus on various academic and societally relevant topics.
This year I've decided to, among other things, promote my personal growth by taking on the challenge of being on the 2022-2023 board of IDEA.

I hope to befriend you all and that we can create an environment of growth and comfort together! ❤️🌱

My name is My-Y and I will be the Secretary of Faculty Association IDEA 2022/2023. I am 23 years old and I have started my Master's Human Resource Studies. Besides my board position, I love to spend time with friends and family, go to the gym, cook and whenever I have the chance, travel to different places. I also started as a working student at BDO, so I surely know how to fully plan my week with several activities.
Last year I had an External Affairs position for the Social Sciences Career Event Tilburg (SCT) and this year I wanted to develop other skills, which is why I challenged myself to become Secretary of IDEA. ❤️💙

My name is Sascha, and I will be the Chairman of Faculty Association IDEA for 2022-2023. I am 21 years old and currently I am in my fourth year of the Bachelor Organization Studies.
In my spare time, I love to travel, meet with friends, play tennis and play waterpolo (or just swim in general). Furthermore, I am an active student of Study Association POLIS, where I have also gotten the opportunity to be the secretary within the board of 2021-2022. I have made some amazing experiences, but now it is time for a new challenge as part of the board of IDEA 2022-2023. I am really looking forward to this year and all the great opportunities we will get.

I hope to get to know all of you in the upcoming year. Let’s make it a successful, but also exciting year together!✨

Dear TSB students,

Some of you are familiar with the TSB card which gives you several discounts at various companies. Unfortunately the four study associations and IDEA have decided to temporarily freeze the card until further continuation.

What does this entail for you?
In case you possess a card, the discounts won't longer apply at the listed companies. Upcoming year we will work very hard to improve this card by adding new companies.
