🌟 Flaktveit Boys 13 wins Fair Play Award at Norway Cup 2024! 🌟

For the second year, referees scored teams on Fair Play, and Flaktveit earned 37 of maximum 40 green cards! The Fair Play Award, a collaboration between Norway Cup, the Norwegian Football Federation, and KIWI, emphasizes the crucial role of referees.

The award includes a trophy and two jerseys: one signed by opening concert artists and Celebrity Match players, and the other by Erling Braut Haaland. ⚽️🏆

På grunn av våte baner på Ekeberg er de fleste kampene flyttet til reservebaner. Norway Cup har ikke reservebaner nok til at kampene i 11 år og 12 år for jenter og gutter kan spilles. De kampene blir derfor avlyst.

Norway Cup har funnet reservebaner til alle klasser med cupspill.

Alle lagene får informasjon når nytt kampoppsett er på plass, senest innen 20.00 i dag.

Åpningskonserten, bespisning og aktivitetene lørdag og søndag går som normalt.

Regnvær skaper problemer for Norway Cup:

All gressparkering på Ekebergsletta i forbindelse med Norway Cup blir stengt på grunn av regnvær.

- Været skaper dessverre store utfordringer for logistikken rundt Norway Cup-starten. Biler synker ned og setter seg fast. Vi oppfordrer derfor alle til å reise kollektivt til Ekeberg, sier Marthe Bøhler, fungerende generalsekretær i Norway Cup.

Ruter har satt opp ekstra avganger i forbindelse med Norway Cup.

Kan bli utsatt kampstart:

Været gjør videre at banene er ekstremt våte, og Norway Cup vurderer fortløpende om kampstart på søndag morgen må utsettes.

Here’s how to participate:

✔️Do not hang clothes over the lamps
✔️Unplug chargers from the sockets
✔️Give empty bottles to the school guards
✔️Put trash in the trash bin - and remember to sort paper waste separately
✔️Help reduce food waste
✔️Follow the school rules

The school guards will monitor every day and award points to everyone - winners will be announced on Thursday next week. Good luck! 🤩🧹

This year we are continuing and expanding our match host program at Norway Cup! Match hosts will be present at all matches - including kids’ and handball matches ⭐️

And that’s not all - our friends at USA CUP have started their own match official program, inspired by Norway Cup 2023 🤩

Kelli Goodrich, Sports and Recreation Coordinator at the National Sports Center in Minneapolis has the following to say about why they wanted a match official program at USA CUP: “Two of our colleagues attended Norway Cup last year and thought it was a great program that we would like to emulate at Target USA CUP. We love the idea of getting the spectators involved to help make the game an even better environment by promoting sportsmanship and respect by the fans. It also helps grow our strong partnership with Norway Cup by both events promoting the same program in different parts of the world.”
