ChildFund Japan Nepal Office in partnership with PRAYAS Nepal and in collaboration with Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality commenced a 7-day basic training to 23 ECD Facilitators from 21 schools of Ward 6, 8, and 10 of the Municipality. The training aims to create child-friendly classrooms, improve learning, and develop holistic child growth by enhancing facilitators' skills in line with national ECD standards. 📚🌟

2nd National Conference of former Child Club members, proudly supported by ChildFund Japan, this event aim to empower change-makers advocating for child rights, youth leadership, and more! Over 150 youths, who have been part of clubs for up to 18 years, unite to discuss diverse topics.

Successful orientation of the SAFE Project at the RM level! 💡
Later participants from SAFE Project and CFJ NO came together to strategize activities and budget for FY 2024. 📆

Peer-to-peer counselling training and Positive Discipline teacher training have been successfully conducted for child club members and teachers in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality.

The peer-to-peer counselling training focused on enhancing the counselling skills of child club members, enabling them to provide services within schools to address various issues affecting children. A total of 37 child club members participated actively from different schools.

The Positive Discipline teacher training program aimed to empower teachers with skills and knowledge for promoting positive discipline strategies in classrooms. This training enhances teachers' capacity to address children's issues in a positive and constructive manner. A total of 24 school teachers actively participated in this impactful training.

One of the thematic areas of ChildFund Japan Nepal Office (CFJ NO) is 'Education'. The intervention under this program area aims to assist children to have access to quality education in the community schools. CFJ NO has been supporting with the construction of child friendly physical infrastructure and schooling where the children enjoy learning in a safe environment thus promoting their participation . This year, CFJ NO is supporting the construction of four classrooms building at Rameshwori Secondary School in Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality of Gorkha district and is looking for a qualified construction company to award the construction project.
