Loo Niva works for Nepal where every child and youth enjoys her/his human rights, especially right to education and safe living conditions.
On December 5, 2023, Mahakal rural municipality, Loo Niva and Patan CBR Cordially organised an event for "16 days Campaign against Gender Based Violence" in coordination with child club network. The event featured creative performances, including drama and songs, aimed at highlighting awareness on child marriage and disability inclusion.

An effective collaborative effort by local advocacy and monitoring committee, Konjyosom and Konjyosom rural municipality supported by Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR "Social dialogue on child protection issues, addressing child marriage, CWDS, and the challenges" faced by abandoned children in community defined and discussed an impactful step towards a safer and brighter future for our children.
Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan C.B.R organized a painting competition program on the occasion of International Day of Disability 2023, featuring the participation of children and girls with physical disabilities.
The RMPAC Mahankal committee visited Kalidevi School Bukhel and highlighted various findings from our school interventions. To our surprise, the Kalidevi School Child Club organized a heartfelt welcome for the RMPAC monitoring team. They presented commendable welcome songs dedicated to Looniva and performed a short yet impactful drama on child marriage.
Loo Niva and Patan CBR under PREP project jointly organized an awareness program on Child Marriage, Child Protection and Child abuse at Gupteswor Sec. School, Nallu (Konjyosom Rural Municipality. Altogether 35 Children participated in the program.

Nawadurga Rural Municipality, Dadeldhura in collaboration with Loo Niva, organized a one-day program for the collection of feedback and suggestions from various stakeholders on the procedure for the protection and promotion of child rights. The program, chaired by RM Chair Mr. Laxmi Prasad Awasthi, RM Chair, Vice Chair, Chief Administrative Officer, Ward Chairs, Executive Members, representatives from the Education, Health, and Planning Departments, as well as those from the Women, Children, and Senior Citizen Departments, Head Teachers, DPO Chair, Loo Niva Officers, and members of the Child Club. The participants actively contributed their feedback and suggestions on the draft of the Child Rights Protection and Promotion Procedure."
Loo Niva in collaboration with the Konjyosom Education educational unit organized interaction on child friendly environment with ECD teachers to ECD teachers of Konjyosom Rural municipality.
Successfully conducted an awareness class for students in the 7th and 8th grades of Shree Baleswori Secondary School at Bhardeu under PREP project of Loo Niva and Patan CBR. During the session, discussed on child protection, current community issues affecting children, the implementation of a complaint handling box, organizations providing services for children, and included a short quiz, partially focusing on Szop.

In collaboration with the local police office, Tungun, Loo Niva and Patan CBR organized a program titled "Child Marriage, Child Protection, and Non-Discrimination School" at Shree Mahankal Sec. School, Gotikhel at Mahankal Rural Municipality. Altogher 60 children actively participated in this program.
Successfully conducted an awareness for children about child marriage, drug abuse, sexual harassment and discrimination-free school under the PREP project of Loo Niva and Patan CBR in collaboration with Kaleshwor police station at Shree Bagh Bhairab Sec. School. Kaleshwor.
The program, focused on raising awareness about Child Marriage, Child Protection, and the establishment of Discrimination-Free Schools, was conducted through a joint project of Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR at Sri Kalidevi Sec. School., Bukhel and Sri Saraswati Sec. School, Chandanpur in collaboration with the Area Police Office Tungun. A total of 47 children from Sri Kalidevi Sec. School and 29 from Sri Saraswati Sec School, Chandanpur, actively participated in this awareness program.
The completion of an orientation program focused on creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, particularly for girls, Dalits, and children with disabilities, took place in Ward No. 3, Dalchoki, within Konjyosom Rural Municipality. This initiative was part of the PREP project conducted jointly by Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR.

A competition program was organized on the occasion of Happy Deepawali 2080 among the members of the mother group and women's network on child protection, child rights, inclusive education, and disability. The event was conducted by the local Advocacy and Monitoring Committee, in cooperation with Mahakal Rural Municipality and with the financial and technical support of Loo Niva Child Concern Group, Nepal and Patan CBR.
An orientation program related to safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all, especially girls, Dalits and children with disabilities was completed under the PREP project in Konjyosom Rural Municipality Ward No 3 Dalchoki, Lalitpur under the joint project of Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR.
Loo Niva organized an income-generating (IG) program in Bhageshwar RM, Dadeldhura. The event took place in the presence of RM Chair Ms. Puspa Thakurathi, Acting Chief Administrative Officer, Loo Niva Officers, parents, and other heads of related departments. Five selected families of vulnerable children received support under the income-generating program."

In the joint project of Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR, an orientation program was accomplished in Mahangkal Rural Municipality Ward No 3 Gotikhel under the PREP project. The program focused on creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for everyone Especially girls, Dalits, and children with disabilities. The event was attended by the Ward Chairman of No. 3, representatives from political parties, Principle of schools, health care workers of Health post, police, SMC, LAMC, help desk, and savings group, emphasizing the importance of fostering a secure space for the community.
In the month of October, Loo Niva provided support for conducting ward level teacher's mobile meetings in all four project wards of Bhageshwar and Nawadurga Rural Municipality. These meetings took place at Sarada Secondary School in Bhageshwar-5, Kalika Primary School in Bhageshwar-4 (Bhageshwar RM), as well as Manilek Basic School in Nawadurga-1 and Bhuwaneswari Secondary School in Nawadurga-2 (Nawadurga RM).
The focus of these meetings was on classroom management, where teachers shared good practices and discussed challenges. Guest teachers/schools also contributed to the discussions by handing over teaching materials as gifts to the host schools.
A monitoring visit by R/MPAC was conducted in Nawadurga Rural Municipality, Dadeldhura. Mr. Laxmi Prasad Awasthi, the Chairperson of Nawadurga RM, along with Vice Chair Ms. Nirmala Kumari Bogati, Chief Administrative Officer, Social Development Committee Coordinator, Planning Department Chief, LEU Chief, and representatives from Women, Children, and Senior Citizen Department, DPO/OPD Chair, other CSOs, and Loo Niva staff, visited Manilek Baalkalyan Secondary School in Nawadurga-2 and Pasa Primary School. During the visit, MPAC members monitored Loo Niva's activities and provided valuable suggestions and recommendations to both schools and Loo Niva.
Mahakal Child Club Network organized street drama, sports programs and cultural events addressing the issue of "Child Marriage" with the support from Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR under PREP Project.
The Oratory program on "Causes of children's addiction and its effects" organized by the Konjyosom-3 Dalchoki Ward Level Children's Network, with the support from Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR, concluded with an excellent presentation by the participating Students.

The basic level oratory competition programs in both Konjyosom 4 Nallu and Konjyosom 1 Chaughare have been successfully organized by Nallu Ward Level Children Network, Chaughare Ward Level Children Network respectively. These programs were made possible with the financial and technical support of Loo Niva and Patan CBR.
In a joint project by Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan C.B.R. organization, an orientation program was completed at Ward Office Kaleshwor, Mahankal rural municipality ward no. 4, under the PREP project. The program focused on creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for everyone, particularly girls, Dalits, and children with disabilities. Present at the event were the Ward Chairman of Ward No. 4, the school principal, health post representatives, health volunteers, police officers, LAMC members, and savings group members.
Basic level inter school Speech competition program was successfully accomplished organized by Konjyosom 5 Bhardeu, Ward Level Children's Network with the support from Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR under PREP Project.
Under the PREP project, Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan C.B.R. conducted a discussion about organizing a program with students of ward level children's network of Bhardeu and Nallu, lalitpur.
Under the PREP Project of Loo Niva Child Concern Group and Patan CBR, a training program was conducted for the members of the Mahankal Child Club in Mahankal Rural Municipality, Lalitpur. The training focused on the preparation of street Drama related to child marriage and disability.
Wrapping up the month of September, the PREP team visited schools in south Lalitpur, meeting teachers, child clubs, help desk members, LAMC members, and volunteers. It was an amazing follow-up visit with a warm welcome at field office to our Finnish intern Ms. Petra Henrietta.
