Hey! We know life gets busy and when you leave the salon, you have mentally left the building before your body has. It's fine, you know you have to pre book that appointment to get the stylist you want, the service correct and the right amount of time held for you! That's great! We'll done for the prebook, we really prefer that and appreciate it! It organises our day so things run to plan and on time.

But oh no! We didn't realize it's school holiday's! No childcare and little Jim or Sally will melt down 20min into that full head of foils!

Caramel, the unicorn colour. A tone that's imagined differently in everyone's mind. Fortunately, our lovely guest loved it and so did we! Glossed over a full head of prelightened baylayage, this hair will continue to shine, feel extra soft and silky and feel THICKER, because of Kevin.murphys gloss, our preferred colour range for toning and refining.

This is Claire, she has naturally black hair and wanted to feel lighter and brighter. Coming in too strong on the light front often causes severe damage and looks brassy if you don't know what you're doing

Today we gently lifted Claires hair with baby lights, only lightening up to desired level and neutralized the unnecessary warmth, fading off the toner to let the ends pop.

This colour allows lightness on darker hair, while respecting its integrity, utilizing the lightness on the ends and transition of tones from roots to mid lengths so the shades work with her skin tone

Thinking about going from blonde to brunette? Why not have some fun on the way?

Today we custom made some beautiful tones by .murphy transitioning from debth into lightness for that real lived in look.

Naturally brunette people will notice free radicals like sun wind and water sun bleach and lighten the hairs ends, so rather then fully colour blocking her hair we have blended it out, a fun and natural looking way to be brunette and enjoy all the shades along the way!

Fun fact? Our colours are made from honey, so Shiney and soft.

Here in NZ, who supply us with our magic colours, donate towards bees welfare as they are are so essential to everyone and everything existing on our earth 🌎 and is a magic ingredient that allows our colours to perform to their high standards.

Can you believe our lovely client has bi annual appointments for her colour. We flash colour into the roots and frame out her parting and hairline with shadowing so she gets pops of beautiful blonde giving her lift and lightness while blurring out our tones in the ends.
