We were thrilled to welcome Hydie Balle-Hands and her adorable dog, Beau, for a special Tamariki Time today!✨🐾 It was a morning full of smiles and tail wags! Beau and his furry friends took us on a roller-coaster ride🎢 throughout the story in Hydie's brand-new book, "Beau and the Stone Giant," grabbing our attention from beginning to end. The most exciting part was meeting the real-life Beau in person! 🐶🎉🐕🎁🐾

To celebrate the month of Poetry Day, Mt Albert Library, Mt Roskill Library and Epsom Community Library invite poets and otherwise to get out their black markers and old books!
Give blackout poetry go – blacking out parts of sentences on a page to form a new poem from the remaining words – and submit them to the competition. Go into the draw to win spectacular poetry prizes for both children, and youth & adults.
There will be a randomly selected winner as well as a ‘librarian’s choice’ winner in both adult/youth’s and children’s categories. Everyone has a chance to win, so give it a go!
