Join us this September for an exciting series of events at Highland Park Library as part of our "Read Aloud the World" project, spotlighting the Philippines! We're thrilled to present four fun-filled activities that will bring Filipino culture to life for everyone.
- **Tuesday, 3 September:** Delight in the flavors of the Philippines with our Filipino Sweet Workshop. Learn how to create traditional Filipino treats that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. - **Tuesday, 17 September:** Get ready for some friendly competition with Filipino Games! Discover traditional games that have been enjoyed by generations of Filipino children.
- **Sunday, 22 September:** Gather around for Story Time, where we’ll share captivating tales from the Philippines, perfect for children and families.
- **Wednesday, 25 September:** Unleash your creativity in our Art & Craft session, inspired by Filipino art and culture.

A quick update on the mothers information group (Pregnancy, labour and birth). From September, the meetings have been scheduled for the first and third Sundays of the month, 2.30pm - 3.30pm. There will be no sessions during August. For more information on this wonderful new offering, check out the events page.
