At Hiem we approach your hair in a way that will have minimal impact on the integrity of your hair by the techniques, colours and styling products we use.

Our goal is to give you the best looking low maintenance colour and style that you can love recreating at home.

This minimalism flows through our salon environment, giving you a chill space for you to relax full of plant life. Enjoy sipping from our Nz sourced tea menu while we tame your hair using eco friendly practices and products.

All our products are local or Australian made or owned as well as being eco and cruelty free. we use no harsh chemicals in our colours and no ammonia where possible right through to products used on your hair and scalp.

If you need to work you can jump on the WiFi or if you want some screen free time then you can cozy up on the couch and flick through the mags, get inspired by our local cookbooks or test your skills with one of the puzzle books. 🧡🧡🧡

Every balayage we do is a creative, custom colour to achieve what our guest desires.

Consultation is key, this client said she wanted "cool" tones but upon digging a bit deeper we discovered she wanted bright blonde. Bright blondes are more effective when you leave gold in the hair. Too much ash or cool tones will dull your result.

Hot tip: bring inspo pictures to your appointments.
