"If I am in New Zealand on a visitor or working holiday visa, can I still study General English?"🤔

This is a question we're often asked, and the answer is Yes.
You can enrol for up to 12 weeks in Seafield's General English Programme on your temporary visa.👏👏👏

We've had a week of colourful creativity at Seafield as our students celebrated Easter and Holi at Auckland's Albert Park 🙌
✨ Wishing everyone a relaxing weekend ✨

Our Seafield students took a break from the classroom recently, to take part in barista training at NZSE's New Lynn campus.

From the hiss of steam to the rich aroma of freshly ground coffee beans, they got hands-on in the artistry of coffee-making in the Koru Room. As they ground, tamped, and brewed, they got to experience how professionals brew their coffee - pouring the milk in true barista style.

Seafield Academic Director Daniel Goudie said: "We wanted to offer our students something different and they really enjoyed their training. Thanks to our hospitality tutor Milika Gasparetti for taking the time out to teach our students the best way to make the perfect flat white. Everyone enjoyed the experience and we'll be back for more barista brilliance from Milika!" If you're interested in developing your skills in the hospitality space, check out our programmes here: School of Hospitality | New Zealand Skills and Education. https://nzse.ac.nz/study-options/hospitality/

At Seafield it’s more than just learning English. Our students have been out and about embracing the local culture and seeing what Auckland has to offer. Any destination is perfect to practice speaking English and learning about the world around them.

What have they been up to? For those wanting to get active last May, they played some tennis on a beautiful day at Western Park. The Auckland Maritime Museum was another big trip students went on as they discovered why Auckland is called the City of Sails.

We have outings every month for students to sign up for. Apply NOW and join classes where learning English goes beyond the classroom. Visit https://www.seafield.ac.nz/
