Merry Christmas and farewell. It's been a long time with many highs and many products over the years but all good things have their time. Totara Cottage has now been sold and the new owners are going to do great things with the business. Thanks so much for all your support, Christine.

It's been a long time Auckland...a little thing called Covid kept getting the way. We are back with a tasting at Farro Fresh Grey Lynn. If you are in store Saturday be sure to try our goodies, including the ever poplar Balsamic Cheese Crackers. Christine

Wellingtonians in particular have been visiting the Wairarapa in droves over the past 18 months. If you happen to have stayed at the historic Martinborough Hotel you will have received some of our goodies in your room. This week we have been busy topping up their supplies of our Winter Warmers in a mini packet - just the right size to go with that first cuppa on arrival.

Normally when I am presenting a tasting session I am wedged beside a coffee machine, or a tank of mussels or in amongst cheeses and sauces. However this Friday I was in the gorgeous surrounds of The Grand Hall at Parliament, wedged between a grand piano, rimu panelling and ornate plaster and paintwork. The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) conference were treated to samples from a range of Wellington food producers. Friday's winner was our Balsamic Cheese Crackers - why am I not surprised! Every week is different in our kitchen depending on how the orders are coming through. This latest week it's been all about our Rocky Road - dark chocolate, cranberries and toasted almonds. Delicious. Kathy is our Rocky Road star and she made batches, and batches. I am wondering which product it will be this week? Make a guess and there will be a prize for whoever get's closest. Thanks to the always fabulous Moore Wilson's for a great tasting on Saturday. Both Winter Warmers and Sweet Salty Sesames raced out the door. The Sweet Salty Sesames are an oldie but a goodie in our range and are particularly delicious with creamy blue cheese. We used the Creamy Blue from Over The Moon - a fabulous little combo.
