Zeki, Clare, Ali and Michelle have opened a little eatery inspired by the Aegean coastlines of Turkey and Greece (the boys' old stomping grounds - both Ali and Zeki from Western Turkey, and the girls seasoned food travellers in their own rights). Another fit-out designed and built by Clare - destined to be a great little local gathering place. Tasty, authentic food from Zeki's hands, and a sunset oriented posi make for some convivial evenings ahead!

Turkish and Arabic coffee, çay, Turkish apple tea, and yes we have an espresso machine if you HAVE to have a Flat White (I like mine in anything other than a normal cup 😂, then çay - black tea in a glass, with my ‘Lokanta Eggs’)

roast chicken; ‘cherkez’ walnut sauce; leeks braised in olive oil… oh yes Turkish rice pilaf as well (so much yummier than every other way of cooking rice!)

Thinking’ about putting cabbage rolls on the winter menu .. what do you think ?

Literally ‘wrapped’ , as opposed to dolma, which means ‘filled’ . So stuffed cabbage leaves, vine leaves, silverbeet etc will be Sarma; and capsicums, eggplants, tomatoes etc will be Dolma 🥬🍆🍅🌶️🌞
