Sue De Jong Physiotherapy Headaches NZ
Sue De Jong Physiotheray/Headaches NZ provides treatment for pain relief and rehabilitation of all injuries including headaches and migraines. Hi, I am Sue.
I am a NZ trained physio with over 15 years experience in private musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I am experienced in the treatment of spinal and peripheral joints, all sports injuries, post surgical rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation. I have a special interest in the treatment of headaches and migraines and get great satisfaction helping people who have had headaches/migraines for years.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Here is hoping 2024 is a year of adventure, family time and great weather!
My clinic is currently open through the holiday period so if you have any need for physio you can contact me for an appointment.
My clinic will be back open to in-clinic appointments on Wednesday 6th April after I complete my isolation following a positive RAT test.
The good news is because I have been isolating as a household contact since last Friday I have seen no clients through my infectious time. 😀
In level 3 if you have pain/an injury which requires urgent care you are able to see a physio for an in clinic, face to face appointment.
I am double vaccinated and have infection prevention protocols in place including use of appropriate PPE so contact me for an appointment if you have pain/injury which is affecting your function or quality of life.
Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland, Waikato and Te Tai Tokerau/Northland: Face-to-face physiotherapy is available at Alert Level 3 for urgent care and our physios are well-trained in patient safety and infection prevention controls. If you require urgent care, don't wait – make an appointment today. http://physio.org.nz
Coronavirus: Physiotherapists call for level 3 guideline change so more patients needing ongoing care can access it One physio says the guidelines for face-to-face consultations in lockdown are too strict.
Embracing the positives of further level 3 ....
1/ Auckland is a beautiful city with lots of outdoor places to explore (beaches, forests, city, parks etc)
2/ I get to spend extra time with my kids in the holidays ... and it will be quality time between their outdoor friend catch ups
3/ I can still help people if needed through digital means
4/ I will have a tidy house ... ok, scrap that one 🤣🤣
Feel free to add your positives to this list in the comments
Yay ... level 3 tomorrow!!
For my clinic this means appointments will continue to be remote via video platforms in order to follow the MOH and NZ Physiotherapy Board guidelines (see below)
In the case of an acute injury you can contact me for an appointment. The initial consultation would be via video where a decision of the most appropriate treatment plan can be made, with appropriate referrals and further consultation if necessary.
Keep up the good work Auckland, stay safe and KEEP SMILING!!
Where I could have been ... but instead, here we are again ... in level 4 Lockdown
You don't need to BRAVE FACE and 'put up' with your pain/injuries, I am available via video to assess your injury/pain, develop a treatment plan and get you on the road to recovery.
Under current NZ level 4 lockdown no additional payment is required in my clinic for ACC or private consults (a small Koha if you are happy and able would be appreciated). Treatment only available to those in New Zealand.
