Hi all, Heather Needham’s funeral will be held at Raleigh St on Wednesday 10 April at 1pm.
The date was incorrectly put in the newspaper as today Friday 5 April.
Hey team, this Sunday afternoon, Ethan is getting baptised.
We would love to have you all come and share in his special day.

Ethan has been in our youth group for a few years now, and we are so excited for this step that he is making.
See the beautiful goods made by those being rescued out of slavery! Part of the setup for tonight's evening with our precious Loyal and Child Rescue mission partners. See you here at Raleigh St soon as we get educated and encourage these people on the front line rescuing precious children out of slavery.
We encourage everyone to come along and hear about the issue of slavery in our world. These two organisations will present their mission to rescue children and women from exploitation and provide a life of freedom.
The Loyal Workshop provides women who are rescued with skills to create leather products. Before and after the presentations you have the opportunity to purchase numerous products crafted by the hands of these precious women. These items will make great Christmas presents or gifts that will last a lifetime.
Child Rescue will also have jewelery for sale, created by many who have been rescued through their organisation.
Come, be informed, encourage these organisations and join in this fight.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Kia ora all,
You’re all warmly invited to come along to the Worship Evening tomorrow (SUNDAY) at 7PM (doors open at 6:30).
John MacKenzie, Vania, Josh Dann, and Bevan Diprose have prepared an awesome worship set. The gospel message will be preached during the evening.
"One of the most basic things that the gospel does is change prayer from mere petition to fellowship and praise of His Glory!"
~ Tim Keller
Let us pray together for the gospel message to be proclaimed and for the Holy Spirit to elevate the name of Jesus Christ in the hearts of those who attend.
Please feel free to extend an invitation to family, friends, neighbors, and work colleagues to hear the good news of Jesus Christ as we enter this Christmas season.
The doors open at 6:30PM for shared conversations. Nourish Cafe is open for you to enjoy some shared baking and to purchase a barista coffee.
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes:"
Arohanui

Thanks to everyone who supplied soup for Cambridge High School and Cambridge Middle School. The staff at both school were extremely thankful and appreciated being thought of.
For those wondering, we seek to bless the staff at these two schools as a way to say thank you for all the work you do with our young people. We see you and appreciate your sacrifice.
For those who donated your crock pots are at church ready to be picked up. Again thank you so much.
Registrations are open for the Spring Day Camp held 2-6 October! A great week at camp plus the bonus of being back at home each night!
Get your team together and register this week!
A family associated with Raleigh Street is looking for an old slide projector to borrow this weekend for a family function. Please contact the church office if you have one they could borrow. Thanks.
Child Rescue:
This morning we have the privilege of having Brian Saipe and Tony Steele from Child Rescue with us. Over 1 million children, mostly girls are trapped in slavery.
There will be two parts this morning. In our 9.30 service, Brian and Tony will be interviewed. This interview will be more for a general audience but may touch on subjects that are triggering for people. The children will be out in Raleigh St Kids but we just wanted parents to be aware of the subject matter if any children were still in the service.
In our 11am elective space, they will share stories of rescues along with more detail about their work. Because of this the session is not recommended for children but would be good for teens to come along with parents. It would be really good to have a good turnout for this session to support them in their difficult but important work.
Cookie Day is coming up! If you're able to help provide some cookies please let us know.
Morena all, if anyone has the following in their gardens presently Kath would love to use to decorate for our Thanksgiving Dinner this Saturday.
CITRUS FRUITS such as ORANGES MANDARINS, LEMONS, LIMES. We would need a few buckets to give a good effect in the Audi. We would let those who attend take them when the evening concludes.
We also need foliage and greenery for the arrangements. MAGNOLIA leaves are good (their rust undersides will pair well with all the orange and yellow).
LEUCADENDRON (for flowers and foliage)
GREVILLIA or a bit of softness.
SILVER DOLLAR/BLUE GUM is good.
FLANNEL FLOWERS are in flower at the moment. TEXT KATH if you have any of these to share 022 0533010
RS Kids are excited to be taking the morning service and sharing what they have been learnng about Jesus. To support our kids and so that you don't miss out on any of the action please come on time.
