It's been great to get started officially for 2024 at Learning Buds today!
Thanks to everyone who has sent back their enrolment forms. If you haven't yet had a chance to get them to me yet, I'd appreciate them this week as they are now due.
We still have a few places available during the school day for sessions. If you know of anyone thinking about Structured Literacy support, please do let them know about Learning Buds.
It's been fantastic to meet new families over the holidays for Mini Literacy Assessments. Our friend Stanley has been in his element greeting new friends. He was definitely excited to see the children returning for lessons today. Sitting on the chair by himself as I worked at the desk over the break just wasn't the same without a small buddy beside him.
We are both looking forward to a fabulous term!
:)
Keryn and Stanley
For those familiar with my little 'chicken' (pheasant) saved from the jaws of Stanley (who just wanted to carry it around) on 14 November a day after hatching, you will be pleased to know it escaped from its run this afternoon and seems to be having a fun time poking around in the grass. I moved it down to the back paddock yesterday so it could be closer to the local pheasant community and further from the roads. I was intending to release it this week. When I checked this morning all was well. This afternoon, I couldn't see it in the run and heard a little rustle behind me and it came over to say, "Hi - I escaped!" I still don't know how it got out - but there you go. It was meant to be. I wish the pheasant all the best. It seems strong and healthy. I still don't know if it is a boy or girl, but whichever, it was an easy and lovely chicken to look after for the past 2 months. 🙂 Bye bye, boo.
It's wonderful to be connecting with 2024 clients this week for Mini Literacy Assessments so we are all go for next year.
If you are interested in supporting your child through Structured Literacy during 2024, please get in touch as I have a few places available now that Learning Buds is open 5 days a week from the start of 2024.
A big thank you to all who have joined us this year - it's been fantastic! I've loved every minute and #1 employee Stanley is in his element for sure!
Enjoy the festive season, everyone!
Thank you
:)

Someone else is interested in Structured Literacy now… :) It’s children first, Isla!
Hi everyone,
It’s been great to connect with some new families recently who are keen to join Learning Buds in 2024.
Last week, most of our students completed their Learning Updates which was a fabulous opportunity to celebrate and share their hard work and progress with family. They’ve done such a great job.
We currently still have spaces available for structured literacy tutoring if you are considering this type of support for your child next year.
Please get in touch to find out about what we offer. - we would love to help your child.
🙂
Thank you!
Keryn
Hi everyone,
It continues to be a pleasure to work alongside fabulous children and their families each week.
I really look forward to my Thursdays and Fridays alongside 'Employee of the Month', Stanley, who just loves greeting the children and getting them settled into their learning sessions.
Next year, I am excited to be extending my work with Learning Buds meaning I will have additional spaces throughout the week for students.
I am taking bookings for assessments in the next school holidays (25 September - 6 October) and have some places held for clients joining us in 2024.
Please contact us should you be interested in having a chat about what we can offer.
Thank you!
:)

We have had such a wonderful term of learning! The holidays are almost upon us now and I have spaces available for assessments during the school break. If you are considering literacy support for your child for Term 3, please touch base to discuss what Learning Buds can offer. Keryn would love to chat! :)

What a great week of learning we have had! Everyone has worked really well getting into the new routines. I have thoroughly enjoyed every session. Stanley has been so excited to see people coming up the drive! It’s been good that he goes to sleep under the table so we can get on with the job too, but only after his biscuit and tricks. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Well some are happy with the office set up!!!
Super excited to have lots of new clients to get to know in the coming weeks! Bring on Term 2! :D
Hi everyone, I am taking bookings now for Term 2. One-to-one and paired sessions (by arrangement) either face to face or via zoom will be available on Thursdays and Fridays only. Please message to chat about your child's needs. :)
