Our final photo drop and one of the highlights of camp!

Every Tuesday between now and the end of the year, we're gonna celebrate some special people doing Youth Ministry in our Diocese - either at our camps, in our Parish communities or elsewhere.

There was only one person we could go to for week one - especially as we drop the photos from Antioch 2024. Of course, that's the person behind the camera for all these snaps (which has meant it's been really hard to find photos of her for this post!)

Ivory Wallace is the Parish Youth Worker in St Patrick's Parish, Greymouth - from where she brought over 40 Young People to our camps this year! She's done virtually every job imaginable at our camps over the last few years - workshop host, photographer, small group leader, camp mum, presenter and I'm sure I've forgotten some as well.

Alongside this, she's a mum of three, an amazing artist and a gem of a human - and we thank God for service, but most of all, for her in general!

A couple of things launched at our Diocesan Youth Mass last night. One of these was this initiative out of Christ the Redeemer Parish for Youth and Young Adults.

We'd like to invite you all to join us every Wednesday night from 7-8PM for an hour of Adoration with youth and young adults from all over Christchurch. Come encounter the real presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, as we spend time in prayer and worship together. This is a perfect opportunity to grow in faith alongside other young Catholics. Stay afterwards for some food and to chat as we encourage one another on our spiritual journeys!
