Our dads, grandads, sons and brothers can be notoriously lapse when it comes to their own health, and prostate cancer is no different. With over 4000 Kiwi men diagnosed each year, raising awareness of the importance in getting checked, catching it early or even how to lower the risks of getting the disease at all can significantly increase survival rates.

This Blue September, our friends at Resene are donating $1 from every blue test-pot sold to The Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ. Every dollar donated helps to improve the health outcomes of Kiwi men and support them and their families through tough times.

It's that time of year where things get busy just before the holidays, and we're no exception, with 3 handovers last Friday alone, one of which was for this lovely family.

Our clients had an unfortunately rocky ride on their new home journey, with their original building firm going into liquidation after paying the deposit, so they came to us to fix their problem and we were more than happy to help.

Producing famous rowers like Hamish Bond and Carl Meyer, the Otago Boys' High School Rowing Club is one of New Zealand’s oldest and leading school boy rowing clubs, so it's a great privilege for A1homes Central Otago to be sponsoring these up and coming local athletes so they can stay out on the water.
