We are on the lookout for a hardworking and reliable store person with a positive “can do” attitude to join the team at our Truss and Pre-nail Plant based in Cromwell, Central Otago.

The Store person will overall be responsible for the daily loading/unloading of goods and for ensuring that the yard is maintained to standard.

Requirements for the role:

• Previous stores/warehouse experience, in the frame and truss industry, will be advantageous
• Great communication skills
• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to prioritise daily tasks
• Health and Safety awareness at all times
• Be physically fit
• Full Drivers License
• Forklift License preferred, but training can be provided

Working hours will be 45 hours a week, Monday-Friday. Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

-responsible for the unloading and loading of trucks
-perform stock checks and report to management on stock levels
-ensure materials and consumables are ready and available for upcoming projects as required by production team
-prepare hardware and loose timber orders
-responsible for maintaining a clean and organized yard
-ensure proper and efficient waste management procedures and systems are in place
-adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe work environment
- communicate effectively with the schedule coordinator on the schedule and delivery programme to ensure project goals and targets are met

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player who possess good communication skills and adhere to Health and Safety requirements at all times.
